Let’s learn about Possessive Pronouns! Possessive Pronouns are words used to show ownership or possession of a person, thing, or an idea. They are used to replace a noun and indicate who the owner of that noun is.

Some examples of Possessive Pronouns include “mine”, “yours”, “his”, “hers”, “theirs”, “ours”, “its”, and “whose”. It’s important to note that Possessive Pronouns do not need apostrophes to indicate possession, unlike Possessive Adjectives which do. For example, we would say “This is my book” using a Possessive Adjective, but “This book is mine” using a Possessive Pronoun.
