The evidence is relevant, well-chosen, and effectively integrated into the essay. The student provides thorough explanations and analysis of the evidence.
Skillful and/or subtle organization & rich expression of ideas Student demonstrates skillful and/or subtle organization of ideas, with a clear and logical progression of thoughts. The essay is well-structured and cohesive, with smooth transitions between paragraphs and ideas. The student’s expression of ideas is rich and engaging, with a strong command of language and vocabulary.
