Hello, friends! Today, we’re going to hear a fun story about three bears and a little girl named Goldilocks. Are you ready? Let’s begin!
Once upon a time, there were three bears who lived in a cozy house in the woods. There was a little bear, a middle-sized bear, and a great big bear. They each had their own bowl for porridge, a chair to sit in, and a bed to sleep in. The little bear had little things, the middle-sized bear had medium things, and the great big bear had big things!
One morning, the bears made yummy porridge for breakfast, but it was too hot to eat. So, they decided to take a walk in the woods while it cooled down.
While the bears were out, a curious little girl named Goldilocks came to their house. She peeked inside and saw that no one was home. So, she opened the door and went right in!
Goldilocks saw the porridge on the table. First, she tried the great big bear’s porridge, but it was too hot. Then, she tried the middle-sized bear’s porridge, but it was too cold. Finally, she tried the little bear’s porridge, and it was just right! She liked it so much that she ate it all up!
Next, Goldilocks went to the living room and saw three chairs. She sat in the great big bear’s chair, but it was too hard. Then, she sat in the middle-sized bear’s chair, but it was too soft. Finally, she sat in the little bear’s chair, and it was just right! She rocked back and forth until the chair broke, and she fell on the floor!
Goldilocks then went to the bedroom. She tried the great big bear’s bed, but it was too big. Then, she tried the middle-sized bear’s bed, but it was too high. Finally, she tried the little bear’s bed, and it was just right! She snuggled in and fell fast asleep.
After their walk, the bears came home. They were surprised to find someone had been in their house!
The great big bear said, “Someone’s been eating my porridge!”
The middle-sized bear said, “Someone’s been eating my porridge!”
The little bear said, “Someone’s been eating my porridge, and it’s all gone!”
Then, they went to the living room. The great big bear said, “Someone’s been sitting in my chair!”
The middle-sized bear said, “Someone’s been sitting in my chair!”
The little bear said, “Someone’s been sitting in my chair, and it’s broken!”
Finally, they went to the bedroom. The great big bear said, “Someone’s been sleeping in my bed!”
The middle-sized bear said, “Someone’s been sleeping in my bed!”
The little bear said, “Someone’s sleeping in my bed, and here she is!”
Goldilocks woke up and saw the three bears looking at her. She was so surprised that she jumped out of bed and ran away as fast as she could!
No one knows what happened to Goldilocks after that, but the three bears never saw her again.

Size Sorting Activity: Gather a collection of objects of different sizes, such as small, medium, and large balls or blocks. Ask the children to sort these objects into three groups: small, medium, and large, just like the bears’ belongings. Discuss why each object belongs in its group and encourage them to find similar items at home or in the classroom.
Temperature Experiment: Provide three bowls of water: one hot (but safe to touch), one cold, and one at room temperature. Let the children feel the water in each bowl and describe how it feels. Ask them to relate this to Goldilocks tasting the porridge and finding the one that was “just right.” Discuss how temperature can change over time and encourage them to observe this with their food or drinks at home.
Role-Playing Game: Set up a small play area with chairs and beds of different sizes. Let the children take turns being Goldilocks and the bears. Encourage them to act out the story, focusing on the concept of finding things that are “just right.” This helps them understand personal preferences and the idea of fitting things to their needs.

Hi, I’m Ryan God, and I’m Craig Dobie. Welcome to Storytime!
Oh my God, today’s book is “The Three Bears.” Let’s get started!
Once upon a time, there were three bears who lived together in a house in the woods. One was a little wee bear, one was a middle-sized bear, and the other was a great big bear.
They each had a bowl for their porridge. The little wee bear had a little wee bowl, the middle-sized bear had a middle-sized bowl, and the great big bear had a great big bowl.
They each had a chair to sit in: the little wee bear had a little wee chair, the middle-sized bear had a middle-sized chair, and the great big bear had a great big chair.
And each had a bed to sleep in: the little wee bear had a little wee bed, the middle-sized bear had a middle-sized bed, and the great big bear had a great big bed.
One morning, the three bears made porridge for breakfast and poured it into their bowls, but it was too hot to eat. So they decided to go for a walk in the woods until it cooled.
While the three bears were walking, a little girl named Goldilocks came to their house. First, she looked in at the window, and then she peeked through the keyhole. Of course, there was nobody inside.
Goldilocks turned the handle of the door and went right in. There was the porridge on the table. Goldilocks didn’t stop to think whose porridge it was; she went straight to it.
First, she tasted the porridge of the great big bear, but it was too hot. Then she tasted the porridge of the middle-sized bear, but it was too cold. Finally, she tasted the porridge of the little wee bear, and it was neither too hot nor too cold, but just right. Goldilocks liked it so much that she ate it all up!
Then Goldilocks went into the parlour to see what else she could find.
There were three chairs. First, she sat down on the chair of the great big bear, but it was too hard. Then she sat down on the chair of the middle-sized bear, but it was too soft. Finally, she sat down on the chair of the little wee bear, and it was neither too hard nor too soft, but just right. Goldilocks liked it so much that she rocked back and forth until the bottom of the chair fell out, and she went clink onto the floor!
Goldilocks then went into the bedroom where the three bears slept.
First, she lay down upon the bed of the great big bear, but it was too big for her. Then she lay down upon the bed of the middle-sized bear, but it was too high at the foot for her. Finally, she lay down upon the bed of the little wee bear, and it was neither too big nor too small, but just right. Goldilocks liked it so much that she covered herself up and fell fast asleep.
By this time, the three bears thought their porridge would be cool enough, so they came home for breakfast.
To their surprise, they found Goldilocks sleeping in the little wee bear’s bed!
The great big bear noticed first, saying, “Somebody has been tasting my porridge!”
The middle-sized bear said, “Somebody has been tasting my porridge!”
Then the little wee bear looked at his bowl and said, “Somebody has been tasting my porridge, and they ate it all up!”
The three bears went into the parlour. The great big bear noticed first, “Somebody has been sitting in my chair!”
The middle-sized bear said, “Somebody has been sitting in my chair!”
Then the little wee bear looked at his chair and said, “Somebody has been sitting in my chair, and it’s broken!”
The three bears went into the bedroom. The great big bear noticed first, “Somebody has been lying in my bed!”
The middle-sized bear said, “Somebody has been lying in my bed!”
Then the little wee bear looked at his bed and said, “Somebody is lying in my bed, and here she is!”
Goldilocks woke up at once, and when she saw the three bears staring at her, she was so frightened that she tumbled out of bed and ran to the open window. She jumped out and ran away as fast as she could, never looking behind her.
No one knows what happened to Goldilocks after that. As for the three bears, they never saw her again.
