⛄ Awnie’s Kitchen: Let’s Make Pizza Snowmen!

Hello, Friends!

Welcome to Awnie’s Kitchen! Today, we have some special helpers, and we’re going to make something super yummy and fun. Can you guess what it is? It’s a snowman pizza, and we want to show you how to make it too!

What We Need

First, let’s talk about what we need to make our pizza snowmen:

  • A baking pan lined with foil
  • English muffins cut in half
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Cheese
  • Sliced olives
  • Little orange peppers cut to look like carrot noses
  • Pizza sauce

Let’s Get Cooking!

Now, let’s start making our snowman pizzas!

Step 1: Spread some pizza sauce on each English muffin half. You can use a spoon to do this. Great job!

Step 2: Add some pepperoni slices. You can put them anywhere you like. Yum!

Step 3: Sprinkle cheese on top. This will be our snowman’s face. Make sure to cover it nicely!

Step 4: Use olives for the eyes and the little orange peppers for the nose. You can make your snowman happy, sad, or even silly!

Time to Cook!

Now that our snowmen are ready, it’s time to cook them. We need a grown-up to help us with this part. We will bake them in the oven at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes. Be careful, the oven is hot!

Yummy Snowmen!

Once they’re done, take a look at your delicious snowman pizzas. Don’t they look amazing? You did a fantastic job! I bet they taste yummy too. Did you have fun making them? We hope you enjoy eating your snowman pizzas. See you next time! Bye!

  • What was your favorite part about making the snowman pizzas, and why did you like it the most?
  • If you could add any other toppings to your snowman pizza, what would they be, and how would they make your snowman look different?
  • Can you think of another fun food you would like to make in a different shape? What shape would it be, and what ingredients would you use?
  1. Snowman Pizza Art: After making your snowman pizzas, try creating a drawing of your pizza snowman on paper. Use crayons or markers to draw the different ingredients you used, like the pepperoni, cheese, and olives. Can you think of other toppings you might use to make your snowman look different? Share your drawing with a friend and talk about the different ways you can decorate your snowman pizza.

  2. Ingredient Hunt: Go on a mini scavenger hunt in your kitchen with a grown-up. Look for other ingredients that could be used to make a snowman pizza. For example, could you use mushrooms for buttons or spinach for a scarf? Make a list of the new ingredients you find and think about how they could change the look and taste of your snowman pizza.

  3. Pizza Story Time: Imagine your snowman pizza comes to life! What adventures would it go on? Create a short story about your snowman pizza’s day. You can draw pictures to go along with your story or act it out with your friends or family. What happens to your snowman pizza at the end of the day?

Hello, my reading friends, and welcome to Ani’s Kitchen! I’m here with some helpers, and we’re going to make something yummy. What are we going to make today, guys? It’s a snowman, and we want to share it with you!

[Music]

Okay, guys, we’re going to start by telling them what ingredients we’re going to use.

First, we’ve taken a pan and lined it with foil. Next, we cut up English muffins in half. We’re going to add pepperoni, cheese, sliced olives, and some little orange peppers that we’ve cut up to look like small carrot noses.

Okay, Lil, do you want to take some sauce and spread it on there? Good job!

[Music]

Nice! Okay, Callie, your turn. Do you want to spread some pizza sauce on those? Oh, very good! I love it. Now, do you want to get some pepperoni and put them on? Good job!

Now we’re going to take some cheese and put some eyes on him. Oh yeah, that looks good! I’m going to move just a little bit over so it doesn’t melt off his face. Oh, that’s a good way to make a nose; you can put it like that or sideways. You like it that way?

[Music]

Cute!

[Music]

Good job! Spread some sauce on each one. Oh, that looks so good! Some cheese on each one. Okay, and you want to make a face? People have their own way of making them. He’s going to be a sad snowman, a grumpy snowman. So cool! What are you going to make on the other face? Always tongue sticking out!

[Music]

Oh yeah, spread it all around. These are going to be good! Are you hungry? Nice! And you want pepperoni on your pizza? Okay, this is going to go underneath the cheese, so you don’t need to make a face out of it. You can put the pepperoni wherever you want, so you get one in every bite. That’s great!

All right, now you’re going to cover it all up with a piece of cheese on each one.

[Music]

Nicely done! And now you can make a snowman face.

[Music]

So cute! Can you do one on there too?

[Music]

Great job, you guys! That looks so good. What do you think? Was it fun? Yeah? Yeah! All right, now we’re going to cook them at 375 degrees, and we’re going to need a grown-up’s help to put them in the oven. We’re going to put them in there for about 10 minutes.

[Music]

What do you think, guys? Do you like the way they turned out? Yeah! I think they look so good. You did a fantastic job, and I bet they’re going to taste yummy too! Did you have fun? Yeah! All right, we hope you enjoy making your own snowman pizza. See you later! Bye!
