Alphabets Sounds Video

share us on:

In today’s lesson in Awnie’s Kitchen, we had a delightful time making chocolate-covered strawberries with the help of special friends. We learned how to melt chocolate, dip the strawberries, and add colorful sprinkles to make them even more appealing. The lesson emphasized the joy of cooking together, trying new things, and the importance of perseverance when things don’t go as planned.
  1. What did we make in Awnie’s Kitchen today?
  2. How do we make our strawberries look pretty?
  3. What should we do if something doesn’t go right when we are cooking?

Welcome to Awnie’s Kitchen!

Hello, friends! Today, we’re going to have so much fun in Awnie’s Kitchen. We have two special helpers, and we’re going to make something super yummy. Can you guess what it is? It’s chocolate-covered strawberries! Yum!

Let’s Make Chocolate-Covered Strawberries!

First, we need to melt some chocolate. We do this by putting chocolate wafers in the microwave. We heat them for 30 seconds at a time until they are all melty and gooey. Are you ready to start?

Yay! Let’s do it!

Time to Dip the Strawberries

Now that our chocolate is melted, we can dip the strawberries. We take one strawberry and dip it into the chocolate. Then, we hold it up and let the extra chocolate drip off. After that, we put it on a plate. Who wants to try next?

Great job! Look at that shiny strawberry! It’s so delicious!

Adding Sprinkles

Now, let’s make our strawberries even prettier. We have some sprinkles in Valentine colors. We sprinkle them right on the chocolate part of the strawberry. You can even roll your strawberry in the sprinkles if you want!

Wow, they look so cute and colorful!

Time to Taste!

Look at our finished strawberries! Aren’t they beautiful? You all did an amazing job! Are you ready to taste one?

Let’s try them! Mmm, so good! Did you have fun making them?

Yes! We hope you try this at home with your family. See you next time! Bye!

Oops! A Blooper!

Sometimes, things don’t go right the first time. That’s okay! We just keep trying until we get it right. It’s all part of the fun!

Hello to each and every one of you, my good friends! I hope you enjoyed cooking with us today. See you next time!

  1. What was your favorite part about making chocolate-covered strawberries, and why do you think it was fun?
  2. Have you ever tried making something in the kitchen with your family or friends? What did you make, and how did it turn out?
  3. If you could add any other toppings to your chocolate-covered strawberries, what would you choose and why?
  1. Chocolate Melting Experiment: At home, try melting chocolate with an adult’s help. Use different types of chocolate like milk, dark, and white. Observe how each type melts differently. Which one melts the fastest? Talk about why you think that happens. Remember to be safe and always have an adult with you!

  2. Strawberry Decoration Station: Create your own decoration station at home. Use different toppings like nuts, coconut flakes, or crushed cookies. Try dipping strawberries in chocolate and then in each topping. Which topping do you like best? Share your creations with your family and ask them which one they like the most!

  3. Observation and Sharing: Next time you eat fruit, think about how it tastes and feels. Is it sweet, sour, or crunchy? Share your thoughts with a friend or family member. Ask them what their favorite fruit is and why. You can even draw a picture of your favorite fruit and decorate it with colors and stickers!

Stay tuned after the video for a blooper and some shout-outs!

Hello friends, and welcome to Ani’s Kitchen! Today, I’ve got two adorable helpers. What are we going to make, girls?

Chocolate-covered strawberries! Look at the size of those strawberries; don’t they look so yummy?

Okay, first we’re going to melt our chocolate wafers in the microwave for about 30 seconds at a time until they’re nice and melty so that we can dip our strawberries. You ready to get started?

Yeah! Okay, let’s do it!

[Music]

Our chocolate is melted, and now we’re going to take one strawberry at a time. Okay, you ready, girls? We’re going to dip this strawberry.

Then we’re going to hold it up, let it drip off, and then we’re going to put it on the plate. Who wants to be next?

Nice! Turn it all around.

Yeah, it’s such a shiny strawberry! Oh, good save! Okay, you want to pick it up? Good job!

Okay, your turn!

That is a lot of delicious chocolate! Oh, that’s a good way!

Oh, very nice!

Okay, now girls, what we’re going to do is take some Valentine-colored sprinkles and sprinkle them right on your strawberry, right on the chocolate part.

Oh, that looks so cute!

Cal, you want to try some on your little hearts? You can put both if you want. Let me put a little bit in your hand.

[Music]

Oh, nice! You know, you could even roll it in! Oh, there you go!

Let me shake some sprinkles on your strawberry.

Those look so good!

All right, take a look at our finished strawberries. Aren’t they pretty? You guys did a great job!

Okay, you ready to try one?

All right, let’s try one! Oh, I’m going to try this one. What do you think, girls?

Yes, so good!

All right, did you have fun?

Yes!

We hope you’ll try this at home, and we’ll see you next time! Bye!

[Music]

Are you ready for a blooper? I don’t always get it right the first time. In fact, I make plenty of mistakes. I’ve learned that if you don’t get it right the first time, keep trying until you do!

What are we going to make, girls?

[Music]

Yummy chocolate-stuffed crust!
