???? THE LITTLE OLD LADY WHO WAS NOT AFRAID OF ANYTHING

A Fun and Spooky Halloween Story

Hello, my wonderful friends! Today, we have a special story to enjoy together. It’s about a brave little old lady who wasn’t scared of anything! Are you ready to join in and make some fun sounds with me? Let’s get started!

The Adventure Begins

Once upon a time, there was a little old lady who lived in a cozy house. One windy afternoon, she decided to go for a walk in the forest. The leaves were rustling, and the wind was blowing, but she wasn’t afraid at all!

Spooky Surprises

As the little old lady walked along the path, she heard a funny noise. It went “Clomp, clomp!” She turned around and saw a pair of big shoes following her. But she just kept walking and said, “I’m not afraid of you!”

Then, she heard another sound. It went “Wiggle, wiggle!” She looked back and saw a pair of pants wiggling behind her. The little old lady just smiled and said, “I’m not afraid of you either!”

More Silly Sounds

Next, she heard “Shake, shake!” It was a shirt shaking in the wind. The little old lady chuckled and said, “I’m not afraid of you!”

After that, she heard “Clap, clap!” It was a pair of gloves clapping together. The little old lady laughed and said, “I’m not afraid of you!”

The Big Surprise

Finally, she heard “Boo, boo!” It was a big pumpkin head trying to be spooky. But the little old lady just giggled and said, “I’m not afraid of you!”

A Happy Ending

The little old lady gathered all the spooky clothes and the pumpkin head and took them home. She put them in her garden to make a friendly scarecrow. Now, they all had a new job to do, and the little old lady was happy.

Wasn’t that a fun story? Remember, sometimes things might seem a little spooky, but they can turn out to be friendly and fun! Thanks for reading along with me!

  • What do you think makes the little old lady so brave? Can you think of a time when you felt brave like her?
  • If you were walking in the forest and heard funny noises, what would you do? How would you make the noises less scary?
  • Have you ever made something fun out of something that seemed spooky at first, like the little old lady did with the scarecrow? What was it, and how did it make you feel?
  1. Sound Adventure Walk: Go on a walk around your neighborhood or garden with an adult. Listen carefully to the sounds you hear. Can you hear leaves rustling, birds chirping, or the wind blowing? Try to make your own fun sounds like “Clomp, clomp” or “Wiggle, wiggle” using your feet or hands. Share what you heard and the sounds you made with your friends or family!

  2. Create Your Own Scarecrow: Gather some old clothes, a hat, and a pumpkin or a ball for the head. With the help of an adult, stuff the clothes with newspaper or leaves to make your own scarecrow. Give it a friendly face and place it in your garden or yard. Talk about how the little old lady in the story wasn’t afraid and how your scarecrow can be a friendly garden helper too!

  3. Bravery Role Play: Pretend to be the little old lady and act out the story with your friends or family. Use different items like shoes, pants, and gloves to make the sounds from the story. Practice saying, “I’m not afraid of you!” Discuss with your friends or family about times when you felt brave like the little old lady. What helped you feel brave?
