Lesson Activities

  1. Design Your Dream House: Grab some paper and crayons, and draw your own blueprint! Imagine what your dream house would look like. Will it have a slide, a pool, or maybe a candy room? Share your drawing with your friends and explain why you chose those features.

  2. Build with Blocks: Using building blocks or any safe materials you have at home, try to build a small model of a house. Think about how you can make it strong and stable. Can you make it taller or add more rooms? Experiment with different designs and see what works best!

  3. Spot the Architect’s Work: Next time you go for a walk or a drive, look around and try to spot different buildings. Can you find a tall building, a colorful house, or a building with an interesting shape? Talk with your family about what makes each building special and how architects might have designed them.
