Welcome to Learning Numbers with Patch!

Hello, friend! I’m Patch, and today we’re going to have fun with numbers. Are you ready to sing and learn with me? Let’s go!

Let’s Count Together!

First, let’s count to three. Can you say it with me? One, two, three! Great job! Counting is so much fun, and it helps us learn about numbers.

Tracing Numbers

Do you like to draw? How about tracing numbers? Let’s try tracing the number five. Use your finger or a pencil and follow along. Start at the top and go down, around, and back up. Yay, you did it!

Stay Curious and Keep Learning

Learning is like a big adventure, and there are so many things to discover. Keep asking questions and exploring new things. Who knows what exciting things you’ll learn next?

Remember, learning is fun, and I’m so happy you joined me today. Keep practicing your numbers, and I’ll see you next time!

  • What is your favorite number, and why do you like it? Can you think of something special that comes in that number?
  • When you count things around you, like toys or books, do you notice any patterns or groups? What do you like to count the most?
  • Have you ever tried tracing numbers or letters before? How did it feel, and what did you enjoy about it?
  1. Number Hunt: Go on a number hunt around your home or classroom. Look for numbers on clocks, books, or even in the kitchen. Can you find the numbers one, two, and three? How about the number five? Try to spot these numbers in different places and share what you find with a friend or family member.

  2. Number Art: Create a piece of art using numbers! Use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to draw a picture that includes the numbers one, two, three, and five. You can draw a house with three windows, a tree with five apples, or anything else you can imagine. Show your artwork to someone and explain how you used numbers in your drawing.

  3. Counting with Nature: Go outside and collect small items like leaves, stones, or sticks. Try to count them out loud as you collect them. Can you find three leaves or five stones? Arrange them in a line and practice counting them again. This activity helps you see numbers in the world around you!
