Sea Creature Exploration: After watching the video, let’s create our own sea creature collage! Gather some colored paper, scissors, and glue. Cut out shapes to make your favorite sea creatures like a swordfish, octopus, or puffer fish. Arrange them on a large sheet of paper to create an underwater scene. Can you name each creature and share one fun fact about it with the class?
Frozen Aquarium Rescue: Let’s pretend our classroom is a frozen aquarium! Use your imagination to “unfreeze” the sea creatures by moving around like them. Can you swim like a fish, scuttle like a crab, or glide like a turtle? As you move, think about how each creature might feel in the cold water and what they might do to stay warm.
Shopping Adventure Role Play: Set up a mini grocery store in the classroom with toy fruits, vegetables, and other items. Take turns being the shopper and the cashier. As you shop, think about why each item is important. Can you find something that grows in the sea, like seaweed or fish? Discuss with your classmates how these items are similar to or different from land-grown foods.
