Let’s Get Ready for a Snowy Day!

Hey kids, guess what? It’s snowing outside! Isn’t that exciting? Before we go out to play, we need to put on our warm clothes. Let’s learn how to dress up!

Putting on Our Clothes

First, let’s put on a sweater. Find the front, put your head through the hole, slide your arms into the sleeves, and pull it down. Great job!

Now, let’s wear our pants. Find the front, put one leg in, then the other, and pull them up. You’re doing awesome!

Don’t forget your socks! Check which is left and right, and put them on your feet. Finally, put on your shoes. Now you’re ready for the snow!

Time for Kindergarten!

It’s a special day because it’s the first day of kindergarten for Mimi! She’s so excited to make new friends. Let’s hurry up and get ready to go!

Making Friends

When you meet new friends, say “Hello!” And when it’s time to go home, remember to say “Goodbye!” It’s fun to make friends and play together.

Taking Turns

At kindergarten, there’s a slide that everyone wants to use. If you want to play, remember to line up and wait for your turn. This way, everyone can have fun!

Yummy Lunchtime!

It’s time to eat! Be careful with hot soup. Blow on it to cool it down before you eat. Remember to sit up straight and hold your bowl with your hand.

Safety First!

Never open the door for strangers. Always ask, “Who is it?” and wait for a grown-up to check. Stay safe!

Crossing the Street

When you cross the street, look at the traffic light. Wait for the green light and make sure no cars are coming. Be careful and stay safe!

Off to the Amusement Park!

We’re going to the amusement park! Buckle up in the car and let’s sing, “The wheels on the car go round and round!”

Eating Healthy

At the park, we have a delicious meal. Don’t forget to eat your vegetables. They’re good for you and taste yummy!

Fun with Shapes and Sizes

Let’s play a game with plates and forks. Can you guess which one comes next? It’s fun to learn about shapes and sizes!

Kindergarten Adventures

Momo is going to kindergarten for the first time. She’s a little scared, but with friends like Kiki and Mew Mew, she’ll have a great time!

At school, we draw, play, and even make rainbows. Momo learns that school is fun and can’t wait to go back every day!

Remember

School is a place to learn, play, and make friends. Don’t be afraid, because teachers and friends are there to help you. Let’s have fun and learn together!

Discussion Questions

  1. What do you like to wear when it’s cold outside, and why do you think it’s important to dress warmly in the snow?
  2. Can you think of a time when you made a new friend? How did you say “Hello,” and what fun things did you do together?
  3. Why is it important to wait for your turn when playing on the slide or with other toys? How does it make everyone feel?

Lesson Activities

  1. Dress-Up Relay: Organize a fun dress-up relay race with your friends or family. Gather some clothes like sweaters, pants, socks, and shoes. Take turns racing to put on the clothes as quickly as possible. See who can get dressed the fastest while making sure everything is on correctly. This will help you practice getting ready for a snowy day!

  2. Friendship Circle: Sit in a circle with your classmates or family members. Take turns saying “Hello” to the person next to you and share one thing you like about them. When it’s time to finish, say “Goodbye” and pass the turn to the next person. This activity helps you practice making friends and being kind to others.

  3. Traffic Light Game: Play a game of “Red Light, Green Light” to learn about crossing the street safely. One person is the traffic light and stands at one end of the room. When they say “Green Light,” everyone moves forward. When they say “Red Light,” everyone must stop. This game helps you understand when it’s safe to cross the street, just like waiting for the green light at a traffic signal.
