Hi there! Are you ready to explore Baby Panda’s Airport? Let’s have some fun and learn about what happens at an airport!
Airports can be big and busy, so it’s important to know where to go. First, let’s visit the information desk to get some help if we need it.
When you fly on an airplane, you need to check in. This means showing your ID and getting a special ticket called a boarding pass. Make sure to keep it safe!
Before we get on the plane, we need to go through security. This is where we make sure we don’t have anything dangerous with us. We put our bags in a basket to be checked.
Now it’s time to board the plane! We need our boarding pass and all our things. Let’s find our seat and get ready for takeoff!
Once the plane is in the sky, we can look out the window and see the clouds. Sometimes, we might get a snack or a drink while we fly.
If there’s a storm, don’t worry! We just need to stay calm and listen to the flight attendants. They might tell us to put on an oxygen mask to help us breathe better.
Yay! We’ve reached our destination. Let’s take a shuttle to the terminal and pick up our bags from the luggage claim.
Before we leave the airport, we can buy some gifts for our friends. Let’s put our things on the counter and pay for them.
If we lose something, we can go to the lost and found office to look for it. They will help us find our lost items.
Thank you for visiting Baby Panda’s Airport! We hope you had a great time and learned something new. Have a safe journey!

Airport Role Play: Create a mini-airport at home or in the classroom. Use chairs as airplane seats, a table as the check-in counter, and a small area for security. Let the children take turns being passengers, security officers, and flight attendants. Encourage them to practice checking in, going through security, and boarding the plane. Ask them questions like, “What do you need to show at the check-in counter?” or “How do you stay safe during the flight?”
Map Making: Provide the children with paper and crayons to draw a simple map of an airport. Include areas like the information desk, check-in counter, security, boarding gate, and luggage claim. Discuss with them how maps help us find our way in big places like airports. Ask, “Why is it important to know where things are in an airport?” and “How can a map help us if we get lost?”
Observation Walk: Take the children on a walk around the school or home, pretending it’s an airport. Ask them to observe and note down things they see that are similar to an airport, like signs, lines, or people helping others. After the walk, discuss their observations and relate them to the airport experience. Ask, “What did you see that reminded you of an airport?” and “How do people help each other at the airport?”
