Yummy Juices

It’s a hot day, and we want something cool to drink. How about some tasty juice? We have Dino juice, Croc juice, and even rainbow juice! Yum! Adventures with the Vending Machine

Oh no! The vending machine is broken! What should we do? Our friend Whiskers needs a battery for his toy. Let’s see if we can help him. Look, we found a battery! Yay!

Whiskers also wants to buy some soda, but there’s none in the machine. What else can we get? How about an apple? Oh, someone took a bite of it! Silly vending machine, it keeps changing its goodies!

Colorful Clothes and Swimming Fun

It’s so hot outside! Let’s go swimming to cool off. Jump into a cup of water, and watch the water turn blue. Now, let’s find our blue-colored clothes. Splash! The water turns purple, and we have our purple-colored clothes. Isn’t that magical?

Lesson Activities

  1. Juice Mixing Experiment: Let’s make our own special juice! Gather some fruit juices like orange, apple, and grape. Mix them in different combinations to create new colors and flavors. Ask yourself, “What happens when I mix red and yellow juice? What new color do I get?” Try different mixes and see what you discover!

  2. Riddle Creation Time: Now it’s your turn to create a riddle! Think of something you see every day and make up a funny riddle about it. For example, “What has keys but can’t open locks?” (A piano!) Share your riddle with a friend or family member and see if they can guess the answer.

  3. Color Hunt Adventure: Go on a color hunt around your home or classroom. Find objects that match the colors of the juices we talked about: red, green, and purple. Can you find something red like Dino juice or green like Croc juice? Make a list or draw pictures of what you find!
