Let’s Learn About Sharks!

Meet the Shark Family

Today, we’re going to have fun learning about sharks! Sharks are amazing creatures that live in the ocean. Let’s meet the shark family!

Baby Shark

First, we have the Baby Shark. Baby sharks are small and cute. They love to swim and play in the water. Can you pretend to swim like a baby shark?

Daddy Shark

Next, there’s Daddy Shark. Daddy sharks are bigger and strong. They help keep the baby sharks safe. Can you show your muscles like a strong daddy shark?

Swimming with Sharks

Sharks love to swim in the ocean. They glide through the water with their fins. Have you ever seen a shark swim? It’s so cool!

Happy Sharks

Sharks can be happy too! When they swim together, they look like they’re having fun. Let’s pretend to be happy sharks swimming in the ocean!

Fun Shark Facts

Did you know that sharks have been around for millions of years? They have super sharp teeth and can swim really fast. Sharks come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny ones to giant ones!

Let’s Sing and Dance

Now that we know more about sharks, let’s sing and dance like the shark family. You can make up your own shark dance moves and have a great time!

Keep Exploring

There’s so much more to learn about sharks and the ocean. Keep exploring and discovering new things every day!

  • What do you think it would be like to swim in the ocean with a family of sharks? How would you feel, and what would you want to see?
  • Can you think of other animals that live in the ocean? How are they similar to or different from sharks?
  • If you could be any kind of shark for a day, which one would you choose and why? What adventures would you go on?
  1. Shark Fin Craft: Let’s make our own shark fins! Use a piece of cardboard or thick paper to cut out a fin shape. Decorate it with crayons or markers to make it look like a real shark fin. Once you’re done, attach it to a headband or a strip of paper to wear on your head. Now, pretend to be a shark swimming in the ocean. How does it feel to swim like a shark?

  2. Shark Size Comparison: Find different objects around your home or classroom to compare sizes. For example, use a toy car, a book, and a pillow. Which one is the size of a baby shark? Which one is closer to the size of a daddy shark? Talk about how sharks come in different sizes and how they might use their size to help them in the ocean.

  3. Shark Observation Walk: Take a walk outside and pretend you are a shark exploring the ocean. Look for things that remind you of the ocean, like water puddles, fish in a pond, or even the blue sky. What do you see that makes you think of sharks? Share your discoveries with a friend or family member and talk about why sharks are important to the ocean.
