Welcome to the World of Dinosaurs!

Hi there, little explorer! Today, we’re going to have some fun learning about a very special dinosaur called the T-Rex. Are you ready to go on a dino adventure? Let’s get started!

Meet the T-Rex

The T-Rex, or Tyrannosaurus Rex, was a giant dinosaur that lived a long, long time ago. It had big, sharp teeth and tiny arms. Even though its arms were small, the T-Rex was very strong and could run fast!

Baby T-Rex

Just like you, the T-Rex started as a baby. Baby T-Rexes were much smaller than the grown-up ones. They had to learn how to hunt and find food. Can you imagine a baby T-Rex trying to roar? It must have been so cute!

Fun with Music

Did you know that you can learn about dinosaurs through music? Singing songs about dinosaurs can make learning even more fun. You can clap your hands and stomp your feet like a T-Rex while you sing!

See You Next Time!

Thanks for joining our dino adventure today! We hope you had fun. Don’t forget to share what you learned with your friends and family. See you next time for more exciting adventures!

  • What do you think it would be like to see a real T-Rex? How would you feel, and what would you do?
  • Can you think of any other animals today that have big teeth like the T-Rex? How are they similar or different?
  • If you could create a song about dinosaurs, what would it be about? What sounds would you include to make it fun?
  1. Dino Detective Walk: Go on a walk in your backyard or a nearby park and pretend you are a dinosaur detective. Look for things that remind you of dinosaurs, like big rocks (dinosaur eggs) or tall trees (dinosaur necks). Can you find something that looks like a T-Rex tooth or claw? Share your discoveries with a friend or family member and explain why they remind you of a dinosaur.

  2. Build a T-Rex Habitat: Use blocks, clay, or even items from nature like sticks and leaves to create a habitat for a T-Rex. Think about what a T-Rex might need in its home. Where would it sleep? What would it eat? Once you’ve built your habitat, explain to someone why you chose each item and how it helps the T-Rex survive.

  3. Roar Like a Dinosaur: Practice your best dinosaur roar! Try making different sounds and see which one sounds the most like a T-Rex. You can even have a roaring contest with friends or family. Afterward, talk about why dinosaurs might have roared and how it helped them communicate with each other.
