  • What do you think makes Batman a hero? Can you think of someone in your life who is like a hero to you?
  • Batman gets ready for his adventures at night. What are some things you do to get ready for bed? Do you have a special routine?
  • If you could have a special signal like Batman, what would it look like and when would you use it?
  1. Superhero Role Play: Encourage the children to dress up as their favorite superhero, just like Batman. Provide simple costumes or capes and let them act out a scene where they help someone or solve a problem. Ask them to think about what makes a superhero brave and how they can be brave in their own lives, like helping a friend or cleaning up their toys.

  2. Night Sky Observation: Take the children outside during the evening to observe the night sky. Ask them to look for stars and talk about how the sky changes from day to night. Encourage them to draw a picture of what they see and share it with the class. Discuss how Batman uses the night to do his work and how they can use their senses to explore the world around them.

  3. Build a Batmobile: Provide materials like cardboard boxes, paper plates, and markers for the children to create their own Batmobile. Once they have built their cars, let them imagine a journey where they help someone or make the world a better place. Ask them to share their stories and discuss how they can be helpful in their community, just like Batman.

Each day the sun sets,
Each evening a dark night rises.
Shadows and stars cover the sky.

Suddenly, the hero gets a signal.
He must get ready,
Prepare the Batmobile.

A great adventure awaits.
Moments later, zoom! The hero speeds through the shadows.

Then it’s time to take care of business.
The hero cleans up the daily grime and brushes aside his fears.
Your misdeeds are over.

He must lock away whatever he can
And throw away the key.
For there are those who depend upon him,
And those he can count on.

It’s up to you, old pals.
The hero watches over them all.
Look up there, it’s Batman!

He is finally ready
For the long night ahead.
Good night, Dark Knight.
