In the lesson “Let’s Move and Learn Together!”, children are encouraged to engage in fun physical activities that promote both physical strength and mental growth. Through playful exercises like Helicopter Twirls, Monkey Swings, and Dinosaur Stomps, kids are motivated to stay active while imagining themselves as shining stars. The lesson emphasizes the importance of enjoying movement and doing their best every day.
  1. What fun moves did we learn today that help our bodies?
  2. How do you feel when you move like a monkey or jump like a frog?
  3. Why is it important to keep trying our best while we play and learn?

Let’s Move and Learn Together!

Hey there, little friend! Are you ready to have some fun? Let’s stand up and get moving! Today, we’re going to do some exciting exercises that will help us grow strong and smart. Let’s do our best and enjoy this beautiful day!

Build Your Body and Brain

By doing these fun exercises, you’re making your body strong and your brain smart. Let’s enjoy this beautiful day and do the very best we can!

  • What was your favorite move from the exercises we learned, and why did you like it the most?
  • Can you think of a time when you felt like a shining star? What were you doing, and how did it make you feel?
  • If you could create your own fun move or dance, what would it be called, and how would you do it?
  1. Animal Movement Adventure: Go outside or find a space in your home where you can move around safely. Pretend to be different animals and create your own moves! Can you hop like a kangaroo or slither like a snake? Ask your family to join in and see who can come up with the silliest animal move!

  2. Exercise Detective: Next time you go to the park or watch a video, look for people or characters doing exercises. Can you spot someone doing a move similar to the ones we learned, like a frog jump or a helicopter twirl? Share what you find with your friends or family and try to do the moves together!

  3. Movement Story Time: Create a short story using the fun moves we learned. For example, “Once upon a time, a little monkey swung through the jungle, then twirled like a helicopter to reach the top of a tree.” Act out the story with your moves and ask your friends to join in and add their own parts to the story!
