  • If you could plan a snowy day with your friends, what activities would you include to make it fun for everyone?
  1. Snowy Adventure Walk: Take a walk outside with an adult and observe the winter surroundings. Look for things that Spike might find exciting, like a frozen pond or a snowy hill. Can you spot any animal tracks in the snow? Talk about how animals and people stay warm in the winter. What do you wear to keep warm, just like Spike?

  2. Ice Skating Simulation: Create a pretend ice skating rink at home. Use paper plates as skates and slide around on a smooth floor. Imagine you’re Spike skating on the pond. How does it feel to glide across the ice? Can you make up a little skating dance? Remember to pretend you’re wearing a warm coat, just like Spike!

  3. Build a Mini Sled: Use small boxes or pieces of cardboard to create a mini sled. Decorate it with crayons or stickers. Once your sled is ready, find a small slope or use a ramp made from books to slide your sled down. Imagine you’re Spike sledding down the hill. How far does your sled go?
