Welcome to Story Time!

Hello, friends! Today, we’re going to have a fun story time with Ryan and Craig. Are you ready? Let’s go on an adventure together!

Finding the Hat

Once upon a time, two friends found something special. Can you guess what it was? It was a hat! But there was only one hat and two friends. Oh no, what should they do?

Both friends tried on the hat. It looked great on each of them! But they thought it wouldn’t be fair if only one of them kept the hat. So, they decided to leave the hat right where they found it. That was a very kind thing to do!

Watching the Sunset

After leaving the hat, the friends sat together to watch the beautiful sunset. Do you know what a sunset is? It’s when the sun goes down and the sky turns pretty colors like orange and pink. They talked about the sunset and how nice it was to watch it together.

Time for Dreams

As the sky got darker, it was time for the friends to go to sleep. They lay down and started dreaming. Do you like to dream? Dreams are like little stories we see when we sleep.

In their dreams, both friends had hats! They looked so happy wearing their hats in their dreams. Isn’t that wonderful?

The End

And that’s the end of our story! The friends learned that sharing and being kind is very important. They also had fun dreaming about hats. We hope you enjoyed this story time with Ryan and Craig!

**Part 1: Finding the Hat**

[Music]

We found a hat! We found it together, but there’s only one hat and there are two of us.

**Craig:** How does it look on me?

**Ryan:** It looks good on you!

**Craig:** How does it look on me?

**Ryan:** It looks good on you too! It looks good on both of us, but it wouldn’t be right if one of us had a hat and the other did not.

There is only one thing to do: we must leave the hat here and forget that we found it.

**Craig:** Did you leave it in the hand?

**Ryan:** No, leave it on the ground.

**Craig:** Right there where it was found.

**Ryan:** Hmm, are we watching the sunset?

**Craig:** Yes, we are watching the sunset together.

**Ryan:** What are you thinking about?

**Craig:** I am thinking about the sunset.

**Ryan:** What are you thinking about?

**Craig:** Nothing.

[Music]

**Ryan:** Watching the sunset.

**Craig:** What are you watching?

**Ryan:** This sunset.

**Craig:** Do you like this sunset?

**Ryan:** Yeah, this one’s okay.

**Craig:** What color?

**Ryan:** Where’d you say color?

**Craig:** Nothing.

**Ryan:** I’m going to sleep.

**Craig:** We are going to sleep here together. Are you almost asleep?

**Ryan:** I am almost asleep.

**Craig:** Are you all the way asleep?

**Ryan:** I am all the way asleep. I am dreaming a dream.

**Craig:** What are you dreaming about?

**Ryan:** I will tell you what I am dreaming about. I am dreaming that I have a hat. It looks very good on me.

**Craig:** You are also there. You also have a hat. It looks very good on you too!

[Music]

**Ryan:** We both have hats!

**Craig:** Did you leave it in the hand?

**Ryan:** Going to get some sleep.

**Craig:** Leave it in the hand, dream a dream.

**Ryan:** So, leave it in the hand, right there in its place.

**Craig:** Two turtles and hats in outer space!
