Hello, friend! Today, we’re going to have a fun time learning about colors and how to sort things. Are you ready? Let’s go!
When we look at things around us, we notice lots of different things like how big they are, what shape they are, and what color they are. Today, we’re going to play a game where we sort things by their color. Let’s start with some toys!
Look at all these amazing toys! I see cars, yo-yos, and even a cute stuffed animal dog. Let’s play a game where we find all the toys that are the same color. Let’s start with the color red.
Here’s a red toy car. Let’s put it in the red group. Oh, look! This stuffed animal dog is red too. Let’s put him with the red toys. I wonder what his name is!
Here’s another red toy! This yo-yo is red. Let’s add it to our red group. Do you see any more red toys? I don’t see any more. Great job sorting the red toys!
Now, let’s look at these houses. There are so many! Today, we’re going to sort them by color too. Let’s find all the blue houses.
Even though the houses are different sizes, we’re only looking for the blue ones. Here’s a blue house. Let’s put it in the blue group. Here’s another blue house. Let’s add it to the group too. Do you see any more blue houses? Yes, here’s one more! Now, we have all the blue houses together.
Now it’s your turn! Can you find all the yellow flowers? Take your time and look carefully. If you need more time, you can pause and think.
Did you find them? Great job! Here are all the yellow flowers. Remember, even though they are all flowers, we only want the yellow ones in this group.
When you sort things by color, make sure all the things in the group are the same color, no matter how big or small they are or what shape they are.
Thanks for playing and learning with us! See you next time for more fun adventures. Don’t forget to check out more exciting things we have for you!
