Hello, friends! Are you ready for a fun adventure? Today, we’re going to look for colors all around us. Let’s see what we can find!
Can you find something blue? Look around and see if you can spot anything that is blue. Maybe it’s a toy, a book, or even the sky!
Now, let’s find something green. Green is the color of grass and leaves. Can you find something green where you are?
Orange is such a bright and happy color! Can you find something orange? It could be a fruit or a crayon.
Let’s look for something black. Black can be the color of a cat or a night sky. What can you find that’s black?
Pink is a pretty color! Can you find something pink? Maybe it’s a flower or a piece of clothing.
Brown is the color of chocolate and bears. Can you find something brown around you?
Purple is a royal color. Can you find something purple? It could be a grape or a toy.
Gray is the color of clouds and elephants. Can you find something gray?
Red is a bright and bold color. Can you find something red? Maybe it’s an apple or a fire truck.
White is the color of snow and marshmallows. Can you find something white?
Yellow is the color of the sun and bananas. Can you find something yellow?
Did you enjoy finding all those colors? You can sing along and learn even more with Fun Kids English! There are songs and videos about animals, foods, the alphabet, and lots more. Let’s keep learning and having fun!
Color Collage Creation: Gather different colored papers, magazines, or old newspapers. Cut out pieces of each color you found during your color hunt. Create a colorful collage by gluing these pieces onto a large sheet of paper. As you work, think about where you found each color and what it reminded you of. Share your collage with a friend or family member and tell them about your color adventure!
Color Matching Game: Collect small objects from around your home that match the colors you found. Place them in a bag. Take turns with a friend or family member to pull an object from the bag and match it to a color card or a piece of colored paper. Discuss why each object belongs to that color group. Can you find more objects to add to your collection?
Colorful Story Time: Choose a favorite storybook and look through the pages to find illustrations that match the colors you discovered. As you read, point out the colors and talk about how they make you feel. Do certain colors remind you of specific parts of the story? How do the colors help tell the story?
