Colors Vocabulary Chant for Children

Alphabets Sounds Video

share us on:

In today’s lesson, we had a fun and interactive experience learning about colors by saying them out loud together. We explored various colors such as red, white, green, and more, while identifying objects around us that match each color. Everyone did a fantastic job, and we wrapped up by recapping all the colors in a big voice, celebrating our learning success!
  1. What is your favorite color that we learned today?
  2. Can you find something in the room that is the same color as your favorite?
  3. What color do you think is the most fun to say out loud?

Well done, everyone! You are fantastic at learning colors. See you next time for more fun learning!

  • What is your favorite color, and why do you like it so much? Can you find something in your favorite color around you?
  • Can you think of a time when you saw a lot of different colors together, like in a rainbow or a garden? How did it make you feel?
  • If you could paint a picture using only three colors, which ones would you choose and what would you paint? Why did you choose those colors?
  1. Color Hunt Adventure: Go on a color hunt around your home or classroom. Find one object for each color we learned today. Once you find an object, share it with a friend or family member and say the color out loud. Can you find something for every color?

  2. Color Mixing Magic: Let’s explore what happens when we mix colors! Use watercolors or finger paints to mix two colors together. Try mixing red and blue, yellow and blue, or red and yellow. What new colors do you create? Share your colorful creations with the class!

  3. Color Story Time: Think of a story where each character is a different color. For example, Red the apple, Blue the sky, and Green the grass. Draw a picture of your story and tell it to a friend or family member. What adventures do your colorful characters go on?

Sure! Here’s a sanitized version of the transcript:
