Hi there! I’m Cory Carson, and today we’re going on a fun adventure. Are you ready? Let’s go!
One day, I was playing hide and seek with my little sister, Chrissy. I counted all the way to 100! But then, it was time for bed.
Chrissy loves to snuggle, but she kept getting into my bed. I asked her nicely to stay in her crib, but she didn’t listen. Oh, Chrissy!
The next morning, I had an idea. I asked my parents if I could have my own room. At first, they weren’t sure, but then they said yes! I was so excited!
I imagined all the cool things I could have in my room: a rocket ride, a car block fort, and even a trampoline! I found an old toy named Honkin’ Henry. He was so funny!
But something still didn’t feel right. I needed more things to make it perfect. I even asked if I could have the fridge in my room, but Papa said no. Silly me!
Finally, it was time to sleep in my new room. I was ready for my first night alone. But guess what? I missed Chrissy’s snuggles!
I realized that having my own room was fun, but I also loved having Chrissy around. So, I let her in, and we snuggled together. It was the best night ever!
Thanks for joining me on my adventure! Remember, it’s always fun to try new things, but it’s also nice to have family close by. Sweet dreams!

Snuggle Time Storytelling: Cory realized he missed Chrissy’s snuggles. Find a cozy spot with a blanket and a stuffed animal or a family member. Take turns telling a short story about a fun adventure you would like to have. Remember, stories can be about anything you imagine!
Family Adventure Hunt: Go on a mini-adventure around your home or yard. Look for things that remind you of family and togetherness, like a family photo, a favorite toy, or a comfy chair where you like to snuggle. Share what you find with someone and talk about why it makes you think of family.
