  • What was your favorite part of counting and moving your body? Why did you like it?
  • Can you think of other fun activities where you can count and move at the same time? How would you do them?
  • Why do you think it’s important to exercise both your body and your brain? Can you share a time when you felt strong and smart?
  1. Counting Nature Walk: Take a walk outside with an adult and count the things you see. How many birds can you count? How many flowers? Try counting forward as you walk in one direction and backward as you return. This will help you practice counting while enjoying nature!

  2. Number Dance Party: Play some music and have a dance party! Every time the music stops, shout out a number between 1 and 20. Everyone must freeze and hold up that many fingers. Try counting backward too! This activity helps you practice counting and have fun with friends.

  3. Build a Counting Tower: Use blocks or cups to build a tower. Count each block or cup as you add it to the tower. Once your tower is built, count backward as you take each piece away. This hands-on activity helps you see numbers in action and understand counting in a fun way.
