What Day Is It Today?

Every day has a name! Today could be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Can you find out what day it is today? Ask a grown-up or look at a calendar to see!

Let’s Sing the Days!

Keep Learning and Having Fun!

Learning is fun, and there are so many things to discover! Keep asking questions and exploring new things. Thanks for learning with us today. See you next time!

  • What is your favorite day of the week and why? Is there something special you do on that day?
  • Can you think of something fun you did last week? What day did it happen on, and how did it make you feel?
  • If you could create a new day of the week, what would you call it and what fun activities would you do on that day?
  1. Days of the Week Scavenger Hunt: Go on a scavenger hunt around your house or classroom to find objects that remind you of each day of the week. For example, you might find a book you read on Monday or a toy you played with on Saturday. Share your findings with a friend or family member and explain why each object reminds you of that day.

  2. Days of the Week Dance: Create a special dance move for each day of the week. For example, you can hop for Sunday, clap for Monday, and so on. Practice your dance moves and perform them in order while saying the days of the week out loud. This will help you remember the sequence of the days while having fun!

  3. Day Detective: Become a day detective and observe what happens on different days of the week. Each day, write or draw one special thing you did or noticed. At the end of the week, look back at your notes or drawings and see if you can spot any patterns or favorite activities for each day.
