Let’s Draw a Flying Panda!

Hi there, little artist! Are you ready to have some fun? Today, we’re going to draw something super cool—a flying panda! Pandas are big, fluffy bears that love to eat bamboo. But this panda is special because it can fly! Let’s get started and make our panda soar through the sky.

What You Need

Before we start drawing, let’s gather our art supplies. You’ll need some paper, a pencil, and crayons or markers to color your panda. Do you have everything ready? Great! Let’s begin!

Drawing the Panda

First, let’s draw the panda’s head. Make a big circle in the middle of your paper. This will be the panda’s face. Now, add two smaller circles on top of the big circle for the panda’s ears. Pandas have cute, round ears!

Next, let’s draw the panda’s eyes. Inside the big circle, draw two big ovals. Inside each oval, draw a smaller circle and color it in. These are the panda’s eyes, and they help it see while flying!

Now, let’s give our panda a nose. Draw a small oval in the middle of the face, right between the eyes. Below the nose, draw a little smile. Our panda is happy to be flying!

Adding Wings

Since our panda can fly, it needs wings! On each side of the panda’s head, draw a big, fluffy wing. You can make the wings look like big, soft clouds. Imagine the panda flapping its wings and flying high in the sky!

Coloring Your Panda

Now it’s time to color your panda. Pandas are black and white, so you can color the ears, eyes, and nose black. The rest of the face can stay white. For the wings, you can use any colors you like. Maybe rainbow colors or your favorite color!

Flying High

Wow, look at your amazing flying panda! It’s ready to zoom through the clouds and explore the sky. You did a fantastic job! Remember, you can draw anything you imagine. Keep practicing and have fun creating more wonderful art!

Keep Drawing!

Drawing is a great way to use your imagination and have fun. You can draw more animals with wings, like a flying cat or a flying dog. What other animals can you think of that might like to fly? Keep drawing and let your creativity soar!

  • What do you think it would be like if pandas could really fly? How would the world be different?
  • Have you ever imagined an animal doing something unusual, like a flying panda? Can you think of another animal and imagine it doing something fun or silly?
  • When you draw, what colors do you like to use the most? Why do you choose those colors, and how do they make you feel?
  1. Winged Adventure Walk: Take a walk outside and observe the birds in your neighborhood. Notice how they use their wings to fly. Can you see any patterns or colors on their wings? Draw a picture of your favorite bird and imagine what it would look like if it had panda colors. Share your drawing with a friend or family member and tell them about your flying panda.

  2. Panda Story Time: Create a short story about your flying panda. Where does it go on its flying adventures? Does it meet any other animals in the sky? Use your imagination to think of a fun adventure for your panda. You can draw pictures to go along with your story and share it with your class or family.

  3. Colorful Wings Experiment: Gather some leaves or paper cutouts and color them with crayons or markers. Try different color combinations to see which ones you like best. Pretend these are wings for your panda. Which colors make your panda look the happiest or the most adventurous? Discuss with a friend why you chose those colors.
