Where Are You Going?

Thanks for learning with me! See you next time for more fun!

  • Can you think of a time when you felt really happy? What did you do to show you were happy?
  • What is your favorite vegetable, and how do you like to eat it? Do you have a special way of preparing it?
  • If you could build a snowman, what special items would you add to make it unique? Why would you choose those items?
  1. Feelings and Faces: Let’s explore our feelings by making faces! Gather a small mirror and try making different faces for each feeling. Can you make a happy face? How about a sad face? Try an angry face too! Look in the mirror and see how your face changes with each emotion. Ask a friend or family member to guess which feeling you’re showing. This will help you understand how we express our feelings through our faces.

  2. Feelings and Colors: Let’s use colors to show our feelings! Get some crayons or colored pencils and draw a picture for each feeling. What color would you use for happiness? Maybe yellow or pink? How about sadness? Perhaps blue or gray? Draw a picture of something that makes you feel each emotion and share your drawings with the class. This activity helps us connect colors with our feelings and express them creatively.

  3. Feelings and Actions: Let’s act out our feelings! Think about what you do when you feel happy, sad, or angry. Do you jump up and down when you’re happy? Do you hug a stuffed animal when you’re sad? Pretend you’re feeling each emotion and show your actions to a friend or family member. Ask them to guess which feeling you’re showing. This helps us learn how our actions can show our feelings.
