Alphabets Sounds Video

share us on:

In today’s lesson, we explored various feelings and the actions associated with them, such as laughing when happy, crying when sad, stomping feet when angry, eating when hungry, and going to sleep when sleepy. We practiced saying these words together to reinforce our understanding of emotions and their expressions. Remember, it’s perfectly normal to experience a range of feelings, and it’s important to acknowledge them!
  1. What do you do when you feel happy?
  2. How do you show that you are angry?
  3. What do you like to eat when you feel hungry?

Hello Friends!

Today, we’re going to have some fun with words and feelings. Are you ready? Let’s get started!

Feelings and Actions

Listen carefully and say the words with me. Here we go:

Happy

When we feel happy, we can laugh and smile!

Sad

Sometimes, when we feel sad, we might cry a little.

Angry

If we feel angry, we might want to stomp our feet like a dinosaur!

Hungry

When our tummy feels hungry, it’s time to eat a snack like an apple or a cookie.

Sleepy

When we feel sleepy, it’s time to go to sleep and dream sweet dreams.

Let’s Practice Together!

Let’s say the words again, but this time with a big voice! Ready?

Happy, laugh, sad, cry, angry, stomp my feet, hungry, eat a snack, sleepy, go to sleep.

Great Job!

You did a fantastic job! Remember, it’s okay to feel all these different feelings. See you next time for more fun learning!

  • Can you think of a time when you felt really happy? What made you feel that way, and what did you do?
  • What do you like to do when you feel sad to help you feel better?
  • When you feel hungry, what is your favorite snack to eat, and why do you like it?
  1. Feelings Charades: Let’s play a game of charades! Take turns acting out one of the feelings we learned about today without using any words. Can your friends guess if you’re feeling happy, sad, angry, hungry, or sleepy? After each guess, talk about what actions helped them figure it out.

  2. Feelings Journal: Create a simple feelings journal. Each day, draw a picture of how you felt and what you did. Did you laugh, cry, stomp your feet, eat a snack, or go to sleep? Share your drawings with your family and talk about your feelings together.

  3. Feelings Hunt: Go on a feelings hunt around your home or classroom. Look for people, toys, or pictures that show different feelings. Can you find someone who looks happy, sad, or sleepy? Talk about what you see and how you can tell what they might be feeling.

Sure! Here’s a sanitized version of the transcript:

Hello everyone! Listen carefully and repeat after me.

Happy, laugh, sad, cry, angry, stomp my feet, hungry, eat a snack, sleepy, go to sleep.

That was great! Let’s do it one more time. In a big voice, repeat after me. Here we go:

Happy, laugh, sad, cry, angry, stomp my feet, hungry, eat a snack, sleepy, go to sleep.

Well done! That was fantastic. See you next time!
