Hey there, little adventurer! Are you ready to hear a fun story about Chico Bon Bon and his friends? Let’s go!
One day, Chico Bon Bon, a clever monkey, got a call from Mrs. Coleslaw. But something strange happened! There was green goo everywhere, and Mrs. Coleslaw needed help. Chico and his friends, Rainbow Thunder, Clark, and Tiny, decided to follow the goo to find her.
Even though Chico didn’t have his tool belt, he had the best team ever! They called themselves the Fix-It Force. Together, they followed the goo trail, which led them to a big tower called Blunderburg Tower.
When they got to the tower, they saw a gigantic goo monster! Oh no! Mrs. Coleslaw and some other people were stuck to it, and so was Chico’s tool belt. They needed to help everyone get free!
Chico and his friends had to think fast. They didn’t have their tools, but they had something even better—Tool Force One! It’s a special car with super grippy tires that can drive up walls. How cool is that?
But the goo was too sticky, and they got stuck. So, they came up with a new plan. They used tube socks from a nearby store to make a super sock rope! This would help them climb to the top of the tower.
Clark was a little scared of climbing, so he stayed in the van to help find the best way up the tower. Chico and the rest of the team started climbing with their sock rope.
With teamwork and clever ideas, they were ready to save the day!
And that’s the story of Chico Bon Bon and his amazing friends. They showed us that with teamwork and creativity, we can solve any problem. What a fun adventure!
Remember, you can be a problem solver too, just like Chico and his friends. Keep exploring and having fun!
Build Your Own Tool Force One: Gather some toy cars and different materials like rubber bands, paper, and tape. Try to create your own version of Tool Force One with super grippy tires. Test your car on different surfaces like carpet, tile, or a ramp to see how well it climbs. Talk about what makes the car move better and how you can improve it.
Sticky Goo Experiment: With a grown-up’s help, make your own goo using simple ingredients like cornstarch and water. Feel how sticky it is and try to pick up small objects with it. Discuss how the goo in the story made things stick together and how Chico and his friends used their creativity to solve the problem.
Teamwork Challenge: Create a simple obstacle course in your living room or backyard. Work with a friend or family member to complete the course together. Talk about how you helped each other and what teamwork strategies you used, just like Chico and his friends did to solve the mystery of the green goo.
Here’s a sanitized version of the transcript:

Chico Bon Bon! Do you have a problem? We–Chico! [wailing] Hey, Mrs. Coleslaw. We’re coming right over to pick up–Chico! Help! I was on my way to return your tool belt when… Mrs. Coleslaw? Uh, where are you? Hello? What was all that green goo? [gasps] Guys! Look! [Rainbow] A trail of green goo! If we follow it, maybe we can find Mrs. Coleslaw and help her. But, Chico, you don’t even have your tool belt! I’ve still got the best team in town. Fix-It Force, it’s time to bring the awesome! [kids] Chico Bon Bon! Monkey without a tool belt. [kids] Rainbow Thunder! Clark! Tiny! Whoa! Oh! [grunts] [robot] Tool Force One activated. [action music playing] [Chico] Man, this trail of goo goes on forever! [Rainbow] The goo’s headed toward Blunderburg Tower. Not just toward the tower. It’s going all the way up! [babbling] [tires screech] Chico, what’s happening? I don’t know. [babbling] [Chico] But look! It’s got Mrs. Coleslaw. And a bunch of other people. And… [Chico gasps] …my tool belt! All stuck to… What is that thing? A gigantic goo monster! Whoa! I’m Neil Ostrich, your beak in the goo! A bunch of Blunderfolk and I are stuck to this big, sticky, gooey creature. But what does it want? [Neil yelps] [babbling] I have no idea what that means. But you heard it here first, folks! We gotta get up there and get everyone out of that goo, pronto. To the elevator! [action music playing] [all grunt] [Rainbow] Huh? [bell dings] Yuck! Oh, it’s all gooey! Don’t worry! We can get this goo out of the way with my Goo-Be-Gone spray, which is in my tool belt. Whoa! Incoming! [both grunt] Oh! That was close! How are we supposed to get up the tower without any tools? We’ve still got Tool Force One. We can drive straight up the tower with its extra grippy tires. Rainbow, that sounds crazy! I love it! Let’s go! [engine revs] [action music playing] [Rainbow] Pow Pow Meow! – [Chico] Whoo! – [Rainbow] Yeah! [wailing] Oh! We got goo’d! – [Rainbow] Not for long! Pow Pow Me– [engine revs] Nope, we’re stuck. Looks like we’ll just have to climb the rest of the way. We can use my goo-proof grappling hook… which is in my tool belt. Well, it’s not all bad news. We’ve parked right next to a sock store, and they’re having a sale on extra thick tube socks. Woo-hoo! Come to think of it, I could use some new tube socks. Or… maybe we could engineer something with tube socks instead? Oh, yeah. Something like… [both] A super sock rope! This should help us get to the top! – [grunts] All right, team. Time to climb! Um… About that… I’m really not the best climber. Also, I’m scared of high places, and getting stuck in goo, and pretty much everything else that’s happening right now, so… maybe I should just stay here. Good idea, Clark. We’ll need someone in the van to find the best way up the tower. Phwoof! We got this, team.
