  • What colors and shapes do you notice in the flags we talked about? Can you think of any other flags you’ve seen that have similar colors or shapes?
  • Imagine you could design your own flag. What colors and symbols would you use, and what would they represent about you or your family?
  • Why do you think countries use different colors and symbols on their flags? How do you think these designs help people learn about the country?
  1. Flag Design Challenge: Create your own flag! Use colored paper, markers, or crayons to design a flag that represents you or your family. Think about the colors and symbols that are important to you. Once you’ve created your flag, share it with your family or classmates and explain what each part of your flag means.

  2. Flag Scavenger Hunt: Go on a flag scavenger hunt in your neighborhood or local area. Look for flags on buildings, in parks, or even on cars. How many different flags can you find? Take a picture or draw a quick sketch of each flag you see. Try to identify which country or organization each flag represents.

  3. Flag Memory Game: Create a memory game using the flags you’ve learned about. Draw or print two copies of each flag on small cards. Mix them up and place them face down. Take turns flipping over two cards at a time, trying to find matching pairs. This will help you remember the flags and their unique designs!
