Fun Adventures with Little Cars and Friends!

Helping with Packages

One day, some little cars were driving down the street. They were helping to deliver packages. Suddenly, they needed help, so they called a friendly police officer. The officer said, “Don’t worry, I’ll be right there!” And he came to help them right away!

Learning About Safety

While driving, one of the cars met a troublemaker who wanted to take their package. But the officer caught the troublemaker, and he promised to be good from now on. Remember, it’s important to never go anywhere with strangers!

Fixing and Upgrading Cars

Oh no! Luca, one of the cars, wasn’t feeling well. He needed a checkup. The friends decided to help him upgrade his parts. Luca got to choose his favorite designs, like flashing lights and big tires. He was so excited to look cool and strong!

Helping Friends in Need

Suddenly, Scooby, another car, hurt his leg. Zach called an ambulance named Angie to help. Angie rushed Scooby to the hospital, and he felt much better. It’s always nice to help friends when they need it!

Taking Care of Danny

Danny, a hardworking car, was feeling sick because his engine broke down. His friends took him to the repair shop for a new engine. After getting fixed, Danny felt much better and learned the importance of not overworking himself.

Regular Checkups are Important

It’s checkup day! Tutu, another car, lost his side mirror, which was dangerous. The friends found Tutu and helped him fix it. Regular checkups help cars and people stay safe and healthy. Tutu promised to be the first one at the next checkup day!

Sing Along with the Bus

While searching for Tutu, the friends sang a fun song: “The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round!” Singing makes everything more fun!

Stay Safe and Have Fun!

Remember, it’s important to help each other, stay safe, and have regular checkups. And don’t forget to sing and have fun along the way!

Discussion Questions

  • What do you think it means to help a friend in need, and can you share a time when you helped someone or someone helped you?
  • Why do you think regular checkups are important for both cars and people? Can you think of something you do regularly to stay healthy?
  • If you could design your own car with special features like Luca, what would you choose and why?

Lesson Activities

  1. Role-Playing Safety Helpers: Gather your friends and play a game where you pretend to be the little cars and the friendly police officer. One of you can be the car that needs help, and another can be the officer who comes to the rescue. Talk about how it feels to help someone and why it’s important to stay safe. What would you do if you needed help?

  2. Design Your Dream Car: Just like Luca upgraded his parts, draw a picture of your dream car. What special features would it have? Maybe it has rainbow lights or super-fast wheels! Share your drawing with your friends and explain why you chose those features. How do these features help your car stay safe and cool?

  3. Checkup Day Adventure: Create a checklist of things that need regular checkups, like your toys or even your bicycle. With the help of an adult, go through the checklist and make sure everything is in good shape. Why do you think regular checkups are important for both cars and people?
