Let’s Learn About the Four Seasons!

Hey there! Are you ready to learn about the four seasons? Let’s have some fun and sing along!

Winter

In winter, the weather gets cold. Brrr! You might see snow and can play in it. The days are shorter, so it gets dark early. But at night, the stars shine bright in the sky!

Spring

In spring, the weather starts to get warm. You might see bunnies hopping and hear birds singing their happy songs. The grass turns green, and flowers start to bloom. It’s a time to celebrate and have fun at school!

Summer

In summer, it gets hot outside. It’s a great time to swim, run, and play lots of games. The days are long with the sun shining bright, and the nights are shorter. You can see the moon shining in the sky!

Fall

In fall, the weather gets cool again. It’s time to go back to school! The leaves change colors and fall from the trees. We also celebrate Thanksgiving and give thanks for all the good things we have.

Let’s Sing the Seasons Song!

Wasn’t that fun? Now you know all about the four seasons! Each one is special and brings its own kind of fun. Keep exploring and enjoy each season as it comes!

  • What is your favorite season, and why do you like it the most? Can you think of something fun you did during that season?
  • Have you noticed any changes in nature when a new season starts? What are some things you see or feel that tell you a new season is here?
  • Imagine you could create a new season. What would it be like? What kind of weather would it have, and what fun activities could you do during this new season?
  • Seasonal Nature Walk: Take a walk outside with an adult and observe the changes in nature. Can you find signs of the current season? Look for things like leaves changing color, flowers blooming, or snow on the ground. Draw a picture of what you see and share it with your friends or family.

  • Seasonal Dress-Up: Play a dress-up game where you choose clothes for each season. What would you wear in winter to stay warm? How about in summer to stay cool? Use your imagination and maybe even try on some clothes to see how they feel!

  • Seasonal Story Time: With the help of an adult, read a story or watch a short video about your favorite season. Afterward, talk about what makes that season special. What activities do you like to do during that time? Share your thoughts and maybe even create your own short story about a fun adventure in that season!
