Let’s Make Some Fun Sounds!

Hi there! Today, we’re going to have a super fun time making sounds and crafts. Are you ready? Let’s go!

Crafty Sounds

♪ Jars are popping ♪ Markers are squeaking ♪ Brushes are tapping ♪ Doors are creaking ♪ Most things make a sound. Let’s give it a try! ♪

We can pull tape, snip it with scissors, and shake googly eyes to make all sorts of fun sounds. Let’s dance and wiggle while we create some crafty sounds! ♪

Make Your Own Puzzle

Hi, I’m Baby Box! Today, we’re going to make a puzzle. Do you want to join me? Here’s what we need: wooden sticks, tape, markers, glue, and any decorations you like.

First, line up the wooden sticks and tape them together. Now, turn them over and draw a picture. You can draw anything you want! Use your markers to add colors and your glue to stick on decorations. Ta-da! You’ve made a puzzle picture!

Now, take the tape off and mix the sticks around. Can you put the puzzle back together? Let’s try!

Paper Cup Crafts

Let’s make something fun with paper cups! You can make a kitty cup with polka dots or stripes. Use paint, glue, and googly eyes to decorate your cup. Don’t forget to add ears and a tail with pipe cleaners. What kind of kitty will you make?

Yummy Lion Snack

Did you know you can make a lion out of food? Let’s try it! Use a bowl of veggie dip for the face, black olives for eyes, and red pepper for the nose and mouth. For the lion’s mane, use lots of orange pepper sticks. Add cucumber ears, and there you have it—a yummy lion snack!

Peekaboo Kitty Paper Dolls

Let’s make peekaboo kitty paper dolls! Take a big piece of paper and fold it like an accordion. Draw a kitty shape with a round bottom, arms, and a head with ears. Cut it out while the paper is folded, and when you open it, all the kitties will be holding hands! Decorate them with paint, jewels, and pom-poms. They’re ready for a party!

Make a Purr Stick

Let’s make a purr stick! You’ll need a paper towel roll, some foil, and sprinkles. Decorate the roll with paint and close one end with felt and a rubber band. Put the foil and sprinkles inside, then close the other end. Now shake it to make a purring sound. It’s so much fun!

Thanks for crafting with me today! I hope you had a great time making sounds and creating fun things. See you next time!

  1. Sound Hunt Adventure: Go on a sound hunt around your home or classroom! Listen carefully and try to find different objects that make interesting sounds. Can you find something that pops, squeaks, or taps? Once you’ve found some objects, try to mimic the sounds they make using your voice or other items. Share your favorite sound with a friend and see if they can guess what it is!

  2. Musical Craft Parade: Create your own musical instrument using everyday items. You can use a paper cup, rubber bands, and a few beans to make a shaker, or try using a cardboard box and some rubber bands to make a guitar. Once you’ve made your instrument, have a mini parade with your friends and play your instruments together. How many different sounds can you make?

  3. Sound Story Time: Think of a short story or a scene, like a day at the park or a trip to the zoo. Use different objects to create sound effects for your story. For example, use a paper towel roll to make a wind sound or tap two sticks together for footsteps. Share your sound story with your family or classmates and see if they can guess what happens in your story just by listening to the sounds!
