Today, we’re going to have fun drawing a yummy box of chocolates! As we draw, we’ll also celebrate some special winners, so stay tuned!
Before we start, make sure you have these things ready:
Let’s start by drawing a big heart in the middle of your paper.
Now, draw another heart shape around the first one to make it look 3D. This will make our chocolate box look real!
Let’s make our heart-shaped box look even more real by adding walls.
Now you have a 3D heart-shaped box!
Next, let’s draw the lid of the box.
Let’s make our box look extra special with a ribbon on top!
Now, let’s fill our box with chocolates!
Let’s make our chocolates look even more delicious!
Finally, let’s color our drawing!
Great job on drawing your box of chocolates! We hope you had lots of fun making this artwork. Don’t forget to share your creations and look out for the special winners announced during the lesson. Happy drawing!
Chocolate Box Observation: Next time you visit a store, look for real boxes of chocolates. Observe the shapes and colors of the boxes and the chocolates inside. Can you find any heart-shaped boxes? What other shapes do you see? Draw a picture of your favorite chocolate box design when you get home.
3D Art Exploration: Try creating another 3D drawing using the same techniques you learned. You can draw a different object, like a gift box or a treasure chest. Remember to add lines and curves to make it look 3D, just like you did with the chocolate box. Share your new drawing with a friend or family member and explain how you made it look 3D.
Chocolate Design Challenge: Imagine you are a chocolate designer. Create a new chocolate shape and design. Draw it on paper, and then add decorations like stripes or dots. What flavors would your chocolate have? Share your design with the class and describe your unique chocolate creation.
