Introduction

Today, we’re going to have fun drawing a yummy box of chocolates! As we draw, we’ll also celebrate some special winners, so stay tuned!

Materials Needed

Before we start, make sure you have these things ready:

  • A marker
  • Paper
  • Something to color with

Step 1: Drawing the Heart Shape

Let’s start by drawing a big heart in the middle of your paper.

  1. Draw one side of the heart with a big curve that goes up and then down.
  2. Do the same on the other side to finish the heart.

Now, draw another heart shape around the first one to make it look 3D. This will make our chocolate box look real!

Step 2: Adding the Walls of the Box

Let’s make our heart-shaped box look even more real by adding walls.

  1. Draw a short line down from the top of the heart.
  2. Curve it around to connect to the side of the heart for the top wall.
  3. Do the same on the other side.
  4. For the bottom, draw a longer straight line down, then curve it to match the heart’s shape.

Now you have a 3D heart-shaped box!

Step 3: Drawing the Lid

Next, let’s draw the lid of the box.

  1. Draw a curve coming down from the top of the box.
  2. Add another bump to show the heart shape of the lid.
  3. Connect the top of the lid back to the box with a curve.
  4. To make it look 3D, draw a short line down from the lid and connect it with a curve.

Step 4: Adding Ribbons

Let’s make our box look extra special with a ribbon on top!

  1. Draw two lines across the lid for the ribbon.
  2. Add two more lines coming down to show the ribbon wrapping around the edge.

Step 5: Drawing the Chocolates

Now, let’s fill our box with chocolates!

  1. Draw different shapes for the chocolates, like circles, rounded squares, and rectangles.
  2. Add wrappers around each chocolate by drawing bumpy lines around the shapes.

Step 6: Decorating the Chocolates

Let’s make our chocolates look even more delicious!

  1. Draw stripes, circles, or any designs you like on top of the chocolates. Be creative!

Step 7: Coloring the Drawing

Finally, let’s color our drawing!

  1. Use your favorite colors to make your box of chocolates come to life.
  2. For an extra touch, add shading on the sides of the heart and under the lid to make it look even more 3D.
