How to Draw a Cartoon Mouse: A Fun Guide

Drawing is super fun, especially when you get to create a cute cartoon mouse! Let’s learn how to draw one step by step. Are you ready? Let’s go!

What You Need

Before we start, make sure you have these things:

  • Markers or Sharpies: Use black ones so you can see your drawing clearly. You can also use pencils if you like.
  • White Paper: Two sheets will help keep your table clean.
  • Colored Pencils: You’ll need pink for coloring your mouse later.

Let’s Draw the Mouse!

Step 1: Draw the Ears

1. Draw a small curved line in the middle of your paper.

2. Make a big “C” shape on one side for the first ear. It should be nice and round.

3. Do the same on the other side for the second ear.

Step 2: Draw the Body

1. Connect the ears with a big “U” shape. This will be the mouse’s body.

2. Make sure the “U” is tall and round.

Step 3: Add Details to the Ears

1. Inside each ear, draw a line that looks like a rainbow.

Step 4: Draw the Face

1. Draw two circles for the eyes and color them in. Keep them a little apart.

2. Add eyelashes if you want your mouse to look like a girl.

3. Draw a small “V” shape between the eyes for the nose, then connect the top to make an upside-down triangle.

Step 5: Add Whiskers

1. Draw three short lines on each side of the nose for whiskers.

Step 6: Draw the Arms

1. On one side, draw a sideways “U” shape for one arm.

2. Do the same on the other side for the second arm.

Step 7: Draw the Cheese

1. Connect the arms with a rainbow line to make a piece of cheese.

2. Add a “U” shape to show the cheese.

Step 8: Draw the Feet

1. Draw a “U” shape for each foot at the bottom of the body.

Step 9: Add the Tail

1. Draw a backward “C” shape coming out from the side of the body.

2. Make a line from the base to the tip of the tail, getting thinner at the end.

Color Your Mouse

Now it’s time to color your mouse!

1. Use the pink pencil to color the inside of the ears, the nose, the feet, and the tail.

2. Use yellow or orange for the cheese to make it look yummy!
