Drawing is super fun, especially when you get to draw a yummy chocolate bunny! Let’s learn how to draw one step by step. Grab your markers, paper, and coloring tools, and let’s start our art adventure!
First, draw a circle for the bunny’s eye on the left side of your paper, near the top. Color it in to make it stand out.
Above the eye, draw a sideways “U” shape. This will be the bunny’s head.
Now, let’s draw the ears! Make a big upside-down “U” shape for the first ear. For the second ear, draw it behind the first one, starting from the top of the first ear.
Draw a curve coming down from the head for the neck. Then, add a small curve at the back of the head and a bigger curve for the back, going down towards where the tail will be.
Draw a straight line down for the front leg. Make a “U” shape for the foot, then connect the leg to the body.
Draw a backward “C” shape for the tail. For the back leg, make a big upside-down “U” shape that connects to the tail. Add a sideways “U” shape for the back foot and draw two lines for the toes.
Many chocolate bunnies have a flower. Draw a circle with petals between the front and back legs. Add a leaf coming down towards the feet.
Draw curves to connect the legs to the body, making your bunny look complete.
Sketch a curve from the foot, wrapping around the bottom and connecting to the tail.
Draw whiskers on the bunny’s cheek. Add details inside the ears with a shape that curves up and back down.
It’s time to color your bunny! Use brown for the body. You can pause if you want to match the colors perfectly.
To make your bunny look shiny, use a white colored pencil to add highlights on top of the brown. This makes it look more real!
Great job! You’ve drawn and colored a chocolate bunny. Adding highlights makes it look even better. We hope you had fun and enjoyed making your chocolate bunny masterpiece!
Chocolate Bunny Observation: Next time you have a chocolate bunny or see one in a store, take a close look at it. Notice the shapes and details on the bunny. Can you find the eyes, ears, and tail? How do they compare to the ones you drew? Try drawing another bunny using what you observed!
Color Mixing Experiment: Use your coloring tools to explore different shades of brown. Mix colors like red, yellow, and blue to see what shades of brown you can create. Try using these new shades to color another bunny. Which shade do you like best for your chocolate bunny?
Story Time with Your Bunny: Imagine your chocolate bunny comes to life! Write a short story or draw a comic strip about an adventure your bunny goes on. Where does it go? What does it see? Share your story with a friend or family member.
