Halloween is coming, and it’s a great time to make some fun and spooky drawings. Today, we’ll learn how to draw a cute skeleton. Get your paper and pencils ready, and let’s start drawing!
First, draw two big circles in the middle of your paper. These are the skeleton’s eyes. Inside each eye, draw a tiny circle at the top right. Color the big circles black but leave the tiny circles white. This makes the eyes look shiny!
Now, let’s draw the nose. Make an upside-down “V” shape between the eyes. Connect the bottom to make a triangle and color it in black.
Time to draw the face! Draw two curved lines under each eye for the cheekbones. Then, draw a big smile with a curved line across the bottom. Add little lines up and down to make the teeth.
To finish the head, draw a big upside-down “U” shape, like a rainbow, to connect both sides. This is the top of the skull.
Under the mouth, draw a small “U” shape for the neck. Then, draw the sternum by making a curve that goes up on one side and down on the other. Connect them with a line to make a triangle.
Draw two lines on each side of the sternum to make the ribs. Color them in to make them stand out.
Draw two circles or ovals at the bottom corners of the “U” shape for the pelvis. Color these in too.
Draw two lines going down from the pelvis for the legs. At the end of each leg, draw a curved “W” shape. Do this for both legs to make them look the same.
Now, let’s draw the arms. Draw two lines coming out from the shoulders. At the end of each arm, draw a curved “W” shape. Bend the lines to make elbows, and finish with another curved “W” shape for the hands.
For the feet, draw a shape that curves back into the leg bone. Add a big circle for the big toe and three smaller half-circles for the other toes. Do this for both feet.
For the hands, draw a “U” shape for the palm and a sideways “U” for the thumb. Add lines to make the fingers look like they’re wearing gloves.
Great job! You’ve drawn a cute skeleton. If you want, you can add some shading with gray or black pencils. You could even color your skeleton green to make it look like it’s glowing!
Now that your skeleton is done, think of other fun things to do. You can cut out your skeleton and stick it on black paper for a spooky look. Or make lots of skeletons to decorate your room for Halloween. Just remember to ask your parents before you start decorating!
Have fun with your drawing, and enjoy Halloween!
Skeleton Scavenger Hunt: Go on a scavenger hunt around your house or classroom to find objects that are shaped like the parts of the skeleton you drew. For example, look for items that are round like the eyes, triangular like the nose, or curved like the ribs. Draw or take pictures of the objects you find and share them with your friends or family.
Build a Skeleton Puzzle: Create a skeleton puzzle by drawing each part of the skeleton on a separate piece of paper. Cut out each part and mix them up. Try to put the skeleton back together, just like a puzzle! You can even challenge a friend to see who can complete the skeleton the fastest.
Skeleton Story Time: Imagine your skeleton comes to life for Halloween night! Write a short story or draw a comic strip about what adventures your skeleton might have. Does it go trick-or-treating, or maybe it dances at a Halloween party? Share your story with your class or family.
