Let’s have some fun with drawing! Today, we are going to make a heart with wings. This is a great way to show your creativity, especially for Valentine’s Day. Get your paper and crayons ready, and let’s start!
First, draw the letter “V” in the middle of your paper. This will be the bottom part of your heart. Start from the left, draw a line down, and then curve it back up.
Now, let’s make the top of the heart. Draw two bumps. Start from the left, curve out and down for the first bump, then curve over for the second bump. Now you have a heart!
Time to color! Use your red crayon to fill in the heart. Take your time and make it nice and bright.
Put down the red crayon and pick up the black one. Draw a diagonal line coming out from each side of the heart. These will be the wings.
Now, draw a bumpy line from the end of each diagonal line back to the heart. This makes the bottom of the wings. Do this on both sides.
Let’s give your heart a funny face! Draw a line from the top of the heart down, then add a big, happy smile at the bottom.
Draw two circles for the eyes. Color them in to make your heart look lively and fun!
Great job! You’ve drawn a heart with wings. You can share this happy drawing with your friends or family, especially on Valentine’s Day. You can even add more hearts or little birds around it. Keep having fun and enjoy your art!
Heart Hunt: Go on a heart hunt around your home or classroom. Look for objects that are shaped like a heart. Can you find at least three? Draw them on a piece of paper and color them in. Share your findings with a friend or family member and talk about where you found each heart shape.
Winged Creations: Use different materials like paper, leaves, or fabric to create wings for your heart. Try making wings of different shapes and sizes. Once you have your wings, attach them to your heart drawing. Discuss with your classmates or family which wings you like best and why.
Story Time: Imagine your heart with wings can fly anywhere. Where would it go? What adventures would it have? Draw a picture of your heart in a new place and write a short story about its journey. Share your story with the class or a family member and see what adventures they think your heart might have next!
