Summer is a great time to enjoy yummy treats like popsicles! One of the coolest popsicles is the rocket pop because of its bright colors and tasty flavor. Let’s learn how to draw a rocket popsicle together. Grab your art supplies and let’s have some fun!
Before we start, make sure you have these things:
First, draw the bottom part of your popsicle. Make a wide shape that doesn’t go too far down. This will be the base of your popsicle.
Next, draw two straight lines going up from the base. You can make these lines as tall as you want to give your popsicle a fun shape.
Now, draw a big upside-down “U” at the top to connect the two lines. This will be the rounded top of your popsicle.
It’s time to add the stick! Draw two lines going down from the bottom of the popsicle. You can make these lines longer if you like.
At the bottom of the two lines, draw a “U” shape to connect them. This will be the bottom of your popsicle stick.
Now that your popsicle is drawn, let’s make it colorful! Use bright colors like red, blue, and white to make it look like a real rocket popsicle.
For extra fun, you can add a silly face to your popsicle. Use a white pencil to make it shiny at the top. You can also add a dark brown shadow at the bottom to make it look more real.
Be creative! Change the colors or add different faces to make your popsicle special. You can even think of a new flavor!
We hope you had fun drawing your rocket popsicle! Enjoy lots of popsicles this summer and share your artwork with friends and family!

Color Hunt: Go on a color hunt around your house or classroom to find objects that match the colors of your rocket popsicle. Can you find something red, blue, and white? Once you find them, try to arrange them in the same order as the colors on your popsicle. This will help you see how colors can be found in everyday life!
Popsicle Story Time: Imagine your rocket popsicle could fly! Where would it go? What adventures would it have? Draw a picture of your popsicle in a fun place, like the beach or outer space, and tell a short story about its adventure. Share your story with a friend or family member.
Flavor Experiment: Think about different flavors that you like. If you could create a new flavor for your rocket popsicle, what would it be? Draw your popsicle with these new colors and flavors. Ask your friends or family what flavors they would choose and why.
