Drawing is a fun way to be creative, and today we’re going to learn how to draw a super cute snow bunny. Grab your drawing tools, and let’s get started!
Start by drawing a small letter “V” in the middle of your paper. This will be the bunny’s nose. Then, draw a triangle shape on top of the “V” and color it in.
Below the nose, draw a curved “W” shape to make the mouth. For the eyes, draw two big circles on each side of the nose. To make the eyes look shiny, add a small oval inside each circle and leave it white. Color in the bigger circles.
Now, let’s draw the top of the bunny’s head. Start next to one eye and draw an upside-down “U” shape that goes over the forehead and down next to the other eye. For the cheeks, draw a sideways “W” or “M” shape on each side.
Time for the ears! Draw two tall curves coming out from the top of the head, curving up and then back down. Inside each ear, draw a smaller curve that looks like an “S” to add details.
To keep our bunny warm, let’s add a cozy scarf. Draw a curve under the chin that connects the cheeks. Then, make a big scarf by drawing a curve that goes out and back in on both sides. Add another curve further out to make a wrinkle in the scarf, and connect it back to the chin.
For the arms, draw a backward “J” shape on one side and a regular “J” on the other. Next, draw the body by curving down and around, connecting it back to the other hand.
Draw the feet by making a small curve that comes out, curves around, and connects back to the body. Do this on both sides. Add two little lines for the toes on each foot.
Don’t forget to add the end of the scarf sticking out to the side. Draw a little curve that matches the scarf’s shape and connect it back into the bunny. Finally, add a fluffy tail on the side of the body.
Now that your drawing is complete, it’s time to add some color! You can use blue for shadows and red for the scarf, or get creative with your own color choices. Feel free to add designs to the scarf or even some snowflakes in the background.
Congratulations on drawing your cute snow bunny! We hope you had fun and enjoyed the process. Remember, every drawing is unique, so make it your own. Happy drawing!
Snow Bunny Observation Walk: Take a walk outside or look out the window and observe the world around you. Can you spot any animals or objects that remind you of the shapes you used to draw your snow bunny? For example, look for “V” shapes in tree branches or “U” shapes in clouds. Draw what you see and share your findings with your classmates.
Color Mixing Experiment: Gather some crayons or colored pencils. Try mixing different colors to see what new shades you can create for your snow bunny. For example, what happens when you mix blue and red? Use your new colors to add unique details to your bunny’s scarf or background. Share your favorite color combinations with the class.
Create a Story: Imagine a day in the life of your snow bunny. Where does it live? What adventures does it go on? Write a short story or draw a comic strip about your snow bunny’s adventures. Share your story with your friends and see what exciting tales they have created for their bunnies.
