Drawing is a fun way to use your imagination! Today, we will learn how to draw a cute sunflower with a happy face. Get your markers and paper ready, and let’s begin!
Start by drawing two big circles for the sunflower’s eyes. Put them near the top of your paper so there’s room for the stem. Leave a little space between the circles.
Now, draw smaller circles inside the big ones to make the eyes look shiny. Color in the big circles but leave the small ones white.
Let’s give our sunflower a happy face! Draw a cute smile right between the eyes. Now your sunflower looks friendly!
Draw a big circle around the eyes and smile. This is the sunflower’s face. Make sure the circle almost touches the sides of the eyes.
Time to add petals! Start at the top of the face and draw a pointy shape that goes up and then back down. Do this all around the face to make lots of petals.
If you see any spaces, add more petals in between. You can even draw smaller petals behind the big ones to make it look fuller.
Now, let’s draw the stem. Make a wiggly line coming down from the bottom of the sunflower. It should wiggle one way and then the other, like the sunflower is dancing!
Draw another wiggly line next to the first one to make the stem thicker.
Let’s add leaves to our sunflower. Draw a curve coming out from the stem. You can make it simple or try a tricky S-shape.
Do the same on the other side to make a matching leaf. Draw a line down the middle of each leaf for extra detail.
Great job! Now it’s time to color your sunflower. Use bright yellows for the petals, brown for the face, and green for the stem and leaves.
Once you’ve colored your sunflower, take a look at your amazing artwork! Remember, it’s okay if your sunflower looks different from others. Every sunflower is special!
