Today, we’re going to learn how to draw Wicket, the cute little Ewok from Star Wars! Get your paper, markers, and coloring tools ready, and let’s have some fun drawing together!
Let’s start by drawing Wicket’s nose. In the middle of your paper, draw a small oval shape. This will be his cute little nose.
Right below the nose, draw a short straight line for Wicket’s mouth. Then, make a curved line to show his lips. It should look like a smile!
Now, let’s draw Wicket’s eyes. Draw two big circles, one on each side of the nose. Inside each circle, add a tiny circle in the top left corner. This makes his eyes look shiny. Color the big circles, but leave the tiny ones white.
To make Wicket’s face, draw a line that curves up and over his eyes. Then, draw a zigzag line over his head and back down to his eye. This will be his furry face!
Wicket wears a special hood. Draw an upside-down U-shape over his head. Let it curve down on both sides. Add some wrinkles to make it look real.
Draw a curved line from the hood to make the bottom part. Add more wrinkles for extra detail.
For Wicket’s ears, draw a curve coming out from his head. Add zigzag lines to connect back to his head. Do this on both sides.
Let’s draw Wicket’s body with zigzag lines to show his furry texture. Make a curve for his belly, leaving gaps on each side. Then, draw an upside-down V shape for his legs.
Draw curves for his toes on both feet. Make them a bit longer so they touch the ground.
For Wicket’s arms, draw a curve coming down from his body. Add zigzags for fur. On one side, draw his hand holding a spear. Start with an oval shape for the hand, then add two curves for the fingers.
To draw the spear, start from Wicket’s hand and extend it upwards to his ear. Imagine a straight line going through his hand and down to his foot. Draw another line parallel to the first one, connecting it at the bottom.
Draw a diagonal line for the spearhead, followed by an upside-down V shape to complete it.
Finally, connect Wicket’s hand to his body with a diagonal line to show his arm.
Now that you’ve finished drawing Wicket, it’s time to color him! Use your markers or any coloring tools you like. You can add extra details like leather stitching on his hood or shading for depth.
Great job! You’ve drawn Wicket the Ewok. Remember, it’s okay if your drawing looks different. The most important thing is that you had fun and practiced your drawing skills. Keep creating, and we hope to see you again for more drawing adventures!
Explore Textures: Take a walk outside and collect different natural materials like leaves, twigs, or stones. Feel the textures with your fingers. Then, try to draw Wicket again, but this time, use different lines and shapes to show the textures you felt. For example, use zigzag lines for rough textures or smooth curves for soft ones. How does adding texture change your drawing?
Color Experiment: Gather your coloring tools and experiment with mixing colors. Try to create new shades for Wicket’s fur and hood. What happens when you mix two colors together? Can you make a color that looks like Wicket’s fur? Share your new colors with a friend and see if they can guess how you made them!
Story Time with Wicket: Imagine a day in the life of Wicket the Ewok. What adventures might he go on in the forest? Draw a picture of Wicket doing something fun, like climbing a tree or meeting a new friend. Write a short story or a few sentences about what is happening in your picture. Share your story with your class or family!
