Let’s Draw Baby Yoda!

Today, we’re going to learn how to draw Baby Yoda, a cute character from Star Wars. Get your drawing tools ready, and let’s have some fun!

What You Need

Before we start, make sure you have these things:

  • Something to draw with (like a pencil or pen)
  • Paper
  • Colors (like crayons or markers)

Step 1: Draw Baby Yoda’s Head

1. First, draw a big V shape in the middle of your paper. This is the bottom of Baby Yoda’s head.

2. Inside the V, draw a big upside-down U shape to make the top of his head.

Step 2: Add His Big Eyes

1. Draw two big circles for Baby Yoda’s eyes. Make sure they touch the bottom of the V.

2. Inside each big circle, draw a smaller circle and leave it white. Color the big circles, but keep the small ones white for shiny eyes!

Step 3: Draw His Nose

1. Between the eyes, draw a small curve for Baby Yoda’s nose, close to the bottom of the V.

2. Add an upside-down U on top to finish the nose.

Step 4: Make His Ears

1. On each side of the head, draw a diagonal line going out to make the ears.

2. Curve the ends a little and connect them back to the head.

3. Draw a line inside each ear, starting from the tip and curving back to the head, for the inner ear details.

Step 5: Add Some Hair

1. On top of Baby Yoda’s head, draw some little hairs sticking up to make him look cute.

Step 6: Draw His Robe

1. From the ears, draw a diagonal line down on both sides to make his robe.

2. Draw another diagonal line across the bottom of the robe, curving it to connect in the middle.

Step 7: Add Arms and Sleeves

1. Draw short diagonal lines from the sides for his arms.

2. For the sleeves, draw another diagonal line coming in, like a sideways “V.”

3. Add a small line at the end of each sleeve for the cuffs.

Step 8: Draw His Hands

1. For Baby Yoda’s hands, draw a small curve coming out from the sleeve.

2. Add a thumb and three fingers, drawing a line back to the sleeve.

3. Finish the fingers with upside-down U shapes at the tips for fingernails.

Step 9: Finish the Robe

1. Draw the bottom of the robe starting from the thumb, making a gentle S shape down.

2. Connect the ends of the robe with a curve.

3. Add some wrinkles to the robe for extra detail.

Step 10: Color Your Drawing

Now it’s time to color your drawing! Use your favorite colors to bring Baby Yoda to life. You can add highlights and shading to make it look even cooler.

Conclusion

Great job! You’ve drawn Baby Yoda. We hope you had lots of fun and enjoyed making this adorable character. Keep practicing and happy drawing!
