Let’s have some fun drawing Blebe, a cute character from the show “True and the Rainbow Kingdom.” Get your drawing tools ready, and let’s start creating!
Begin by drawing Blebe’s nose in the middle of your paper. Make a big letter “V” shape for the nose. Below the nose, draw a happy smile. Add another curve under the smile to finish the mouth.
Next, draw two big circles for Blebe’s eyes. Make them large and full of expression. Inside each eye, draw the pupils and irises, and place them towards the inside of the circles. You can make the eyes look in different directions for a playful look.
To create Blebe’s head, draw a big upside-down “U” shape that connects closely to the eyes. At the bottom, add a small curve for the chin. Don’t forget to draw small curves above the eyes for the eyebrows.
For Blebe’s ears, draw two upside-down “V” shapes on top of the head.
Now, draw a tall letter “U” shape under the chin for the body. For the legs, draw two skinny letter “S” shapes coming down from the body.
Start the arms by drawing a sideways letter “V” on each side of the body. Then, make another larger sideways “V” that doesn’t touch the first one. At the end of each arm, draw a paw sticking out.
To finish Blebe, draw a thick tail starting from the side of the paw. Use a curved line that goes down and out to the right, then draw another curve next to it to make the tail thick.
Once you have finished the outline, it’s time to color Blebe. You can skip ahead if you want, but remember to pause and match your coloring.
Using a black colored pencil, color the top of the eyes dark and make it lighter towards the bottom. This will make the eyes look shiny.
With a white acrylic paint marker, add a small circle on top of the black part of each eye to make them sparkle.
Using a light purple paint marker, add details to the whiskers by drawing curves above the mouth.
Great job! You have drawn and colored Blebe. Remember, the most important thing is to have fun and keep practicing. Every drawing is unique, and that’s what makes it special. Enjoy your drawing adventure, and we hope to see you again for more fun art projects!
Observation Walk: Take a walk around your home or school and look for objects that have shapes similar to the ones you used to draw Blebe. Can you find anything that looks like a “V” or an upside-down “U”? Draw or list the objects you find and share them with your class.
Create Your Own Character: Using the same shapes you used to draw Blebe, try creating your own character. Think about what kind of nose, eyes, and body your character might have. Draw it on a piece of paper and give it a name. Share your character with a friend and explain how you used different shapes to create it.
Color Mixing Experiment: Gather some colored pencils or markers. Try mixing different colors to see what new colors you can create. For example, what happens when you mix blue and yellow? Use your new colors to add unique details to your Blebe drawing or your own character. Discuss with your classmates which color combinations you liked the most.
