Today, we’re going to learn how to draw Elastigirl! She’s a superhero from the movie “The Incredibles.” Follow these easy steps, and you’ll have your own amazing picture of Elastigirl in no time!
Before we start, let’s cheer for our friend Jude! He drew a fantastic picture of himself and even added Jack-Jack and Violet with a cool background. Awesome job, Jude!
To draw with us, you’ll need some paper, a marker, and coloring tools. Ready? Let’s get started!
1. Draw two circles near the top middle of your paper for Elastigirl’s eyes.
2. Inside each circle, add a tiny circle in the top left for a sparkle.
3. Draw another circle inside for the pupils and color them dark.
4. Outline the eyes with a bigger oval shape for the whites of her eyes.
1. Draw a curved line over each eye to make her mask.
2. Draw another curved line below to finish the mask, connecting it to the sides.
1. Draw a pointed “V” shape for her nose.
2. Add a smiling mouth and a line for her cheek to show she’s happy.
1. Draw a point above her right eye for the top of her hair.
2. Make a curve that goes over her eye and connects to the left side of her face.
3. Do the same on the right side, letting the hair go past her face.
4. Add a “J” shape under each cheek for her ears.
1. Draw two lines that curve out a bit for her body, connecting them at the bottom for her waist.
2. Add a belt by drawing another curve above the bottom line.
1. Draw a big oval on her chest for the logo.
2. Inside the oval, draw a circle at the top and an eye shape below it with swooshes on the sides.
1. Draw long curves for her legs, connecting them at the bottom.
2. Add a “V” shape at the bottom of each leg for her suit.
3. Draw curves for her calves and ankles to show her muscles.
1. For her left arm, draw a short “V” shape for the elbow and another for the wrist.
2. Add her fingers coming from the wrist.
3. For her right arm, draw it stretching out long to show her superpower, ending with a hand.
Now that you’ve drawn Elastigirl, it’s time to color her in! Add highlights to her gloves and boots to make them look shiny. Have fun with the colors!
Try drawing a background scene for Elastigirl. Maybe she’s saving a city or on a yacht. You can add other characters from “The Incredibles” too!

Superhero Observation Walk: Take a walk around your neighborhood or school and look for things that remind you of superheroes. It could be a tall building that Elastigirl might jump over or a playground where she might practice her superpowers. Draw a picture of what you see and imagine how Elastigirl would interact with it. Share your drawing with a friend and explain your superhero scene.
Create Your Own Superhero: Use the steps you learned to draw Elastigirl and create your own superhero character. Think about what superpowers your superhero might have and what their costume would look like. Draw your superhero and write a short story about their first adventure. Share your story with your class or family.
Color Mixing Experiment: Gather some coloring tools like crayons or markers. Try mixing different colors to see what new colors you can create for Elastigirl’s costume. For example, what happens when you mix red and blue? Use your new colors to add unique touches to your drawing of Elastigirl. Discuss with a friend or family member how colors can change the look of a character.
