Let’s Draw Flame Mellow!

Guess what? The YouTube Kids app is having a big birthday party because it’s turning five years old! To celebrate, we’re going to have some fun by drawing a cool character named Flame Mellow. Flame Mellow is a cute marshmallow character that you can see when you open the app. Let’s get started!

What You Need

Before we start drawing, make sure you have these things ready:

  • Markers
  • Paper
  • Coloring tools

How to Draw Flame Mellow

1. Drawing the Mouth

First, let’s draw Flame Mellow’s mouth. Draw a rainbow-shaped line in the middle of your paper, a little to the left. Then, draw a curved line under it to make the bottom of the mouth. This will give Flame Mellow a funny, worried look.

2. Adding Teeth and Tongue

Next, draw two lines going down in the middle of the mouth for the teeth. Connect these lines to the sides of the mouth. For the tongue, draw another rainbow line inside the mouth and color the shape in the middle, but keep the teeth white.

3. Drawing the Eyes

Now, let’s draw the eyes! Draw two ovals, one on the left and one on the right. Color them in to make Flame Mellow look lively.

4. Creating the Body

Time to draw his marshmallow body! Start from the left side of his eye and make a point, then do the same on the right side, leaving a big space in between. Curve the top of his head and connect it back down to the points you made.

5. Adding Arms

For the arms, draw a big curve like a backward “J” or the letter “L” under his mouth. Add a smaller arm next to it. Do the same on the other side of his body, making sure they look the same.

6. Drawing the Legs

For the legs, draw a bent line going down from the body and bending back up. Do this for the other leg too, and add small bumps at the bottom for his feet.

7. Completing the Body

Imagine a line connecting behind his legs to finish the body shape. Draw the rest of his body, making sure it connects smoothly.

8. Adding Fire

Flame Mellow needs his special fire! Start at the top of his head and draw a big curve that goes outwards. Add more curves to make the flames look exciting and lively.

9. Coloring

Now that your drawing is done, it’s time to color! Use bright colors for the fire and add some shading to the bottom of the marshmallow to make it look real.

Conclusion

Great job drawing Flame Mellow! Remember, it’s okay if your drawing looks a little different. The most important thing is to have fun and enjoy being creative. We hope you had a blast celebrating and drawing with us. Happy birthday, YouTube Kids!
