Drawing is a super fun way to be creative! Today, we’re going to learn how to draw a yummy carton of chocolate milk. So, grab your paper and pencil, and let’s get started!
Let’s start by drawing the side of the chocolate milk carton. Draw a line going down, but it’s okay if it’s a little wobbly. We’re just having fun!
Next, draw the bottom of the carton. Make an “L” shape that goes up a bit. This will help make it look 3D!
Now, draw the other side of the carton. This line should be a bit shorter than the first one. Try to make it match the height of the first line, but just a little higher.
Connect the lines at the bottom to make your carton look complete.
To draw the top, make a triangle shape. Find the middle of the top line and draw a point upwards. Connect this point back down to the middle to form the triangle.
To make it look more like a milk carton, draw two short lines going up from the top of the triangle. Connect them with a line across the top.
Let’s add a straw! Draw two diagonal lines coming out from the back of the carton. Leave a little space between them and connect the top with a curve to make it look 3D.
To show it’s chocolate milk, draw a cow face! Start with a big “U” shape for the face. Add some bumpy lines for hair and two curved horns on top.
Draw ears that look like football shapes. For the face, draw a rainbow line for the nose and two circles for the eyes. Add nostrils to finish the face.
Finish your drawing by adding a cowbell. Draw two lines coming out to the side and connect them. Add a “U” shape underneath for the bell’s clapper.
Make your milk carton look chocolatey by adding brown spots all over it. This will make it look delicious!
Now it’s time to color! Use dark brown for the spots and any other colors you like for the carton. You can even write “Chocolate Milk” on it if you want.
Great job! You’ve drawn a carton of chocolate milk. Drawing food can make you feel hungry, so enjoy your artwork! Share your drawing with friends and family. Happy drawing!
Milk Carton Observation: Next time you have a carton of milk or juice at home, take a closer look at it. Notice the shapes and colors. Can you see the triangle top and the rectangular sides? Try to draw what you see and compare it with your chocolate milk drawing. What is similar and what is different?
Chocolate Milk Story: Imagine your chocolate milk carton comes to life! What adventures would it go on? Write a short story or draw a comic strip about its day. Share your story with your class or family. This will help you think creatively about everyday objects.
Spot the Spots: Go on a “spot hunt” around your home or classroom. Look for objects with spots or patterns, like a ladybug or a polka dot shirt. Draw these objects and add them to your chocolate milk drawing. How do the spots make each object look unique?
