How to Draw Link as Kirby: A Fun Guide

Let’s have some fun drawing a cool character that looks like Kirby dressed up as Link! Get your drawing tools ready, and let’s start creating this awesome mashup!

What You Need

  • Pencil
  • Black marker
  • Bowl (for tracing)
  • Eraser
  • Colored pencils or markers (for coloring)

Step 1: Draw Kirby’s Body

We’ll start by drawing Kirby’s round body using a bowl.

  1. Place the bowl on your paper.
  2. Hold the bowl steady with one hand and trace around it with the other hand to make a circle.
  3. Make sure to place the bowl a bit to the right so we have space for Link’s sword later.

Step 2: Draw Link’s Hat

Now, let’s add Link’s famous hat on top of Kirby’s head.

  1. Use your black marker to draw a slanted line across the top of the circle.
  2. Make a curve over the circle and then curve it back down.
  3. Draw a small circle at the end of the hat to finish it off.

Step 3: Add Kirby’s Face

It’s time to give Kirby some facial features!

  1. Erase any extra lines inside the hat with your pencil.
  2. Draw two oval shapes for Kirby’s eyes, making sure they touch the hat.
  3. Add a slanted line from the hat past each eye to make Kirby look a bit serious.
  4. Erase the top of the eyes and outline them with your marker.
  5. Draw thick eyebrows above the eyes.
  6. Add small half-circles inside the eyes for highlights and color the rest, leaving the highlights white.
  7. Draw a straight line for the mouth. You can make it smile or frown if you like!

Step 4: Draw Kirby’s Feet

Let’s give Kirby some feet!

  1. Draw diagonal lines inside the circle on both sides for the feet.
  2. Curve down from the top of the circle to connect with the diagonal lines.
  3. Trace over the lines to connect Kirby’s body to the feet, but don’t draw over the feet.

Step 5: Add the Arm and Sword

Now, let’s draw Link’s sword and arm.

  1. Draw an arm sticking out to the side, making it a bit higher on one side.
  2. For the sword, draw a small circle above Kirby’s hand, then a bigger circle around it.
  3. Draw diagonal lines from the circles to make the sword’s sides and curve them at the bottom.
  4. Draw a diagonal line down the middle for the blade, then an upside-down “V” at the top to connect it to the sides.

Step 6: Final Touches and Coloring

Great job! You’ve drawn Link as Kirby!

  1. Erase any leftover pencil lines.
  2. Now, color your drawing using colored pencils, markers, or paint to make it look amazing!
