Today, we’re going to learn how to draw Ludwig von Koopa, a cool character from the Mario games. Get your paper, pencils, and colors ready, and let’s have some fun drawing!
Start by drawing Ludwig’s nose in the middle of your paper. Make a shape like an upside-down “U,” kind of like a tiny rainbow. Put it a little lower on the right side. Then, add two small curves for his nostrils.
To make Ludwig’s smile, draw a curve that goes up in the middle of his face. You can put a little dot below his nose to help you. Stretch the curve to the left and right for his smile. Don’t forget his front teeth! They look like a “V” with a “U” shape underneath.
Draw Ludwig’s chin by making a curve like his mouth, but a bit lower. For his cheeks, start from the chin and make a curve that goes back to the chin on both sides.
For his eyes, draw two upside-down “U” shapes between his cheeks and nose. Inside each eye, draw a small circle for the pupils and color them in. Next, draw his eyebrows with slanted lines going outward to make him look a little angry.
Start on the left side of his face and draw a curve that goes up above his nose. Do the same on the right side, stopping just above the nose. Add more curves to make his spiky hair, giving it lots of volume.
From his chin, draw a “U” shape that connects back to his cheek. Add some texture to his belly with two horizontal curves.
Begin with a curve from his cheek, matching the shape of his cheek. Draw a “J” shape for his bracelet, connecting it to his arm and cheek. Add spikes on the bracelet and then draw his hand, starting with the thumb and adding claws.
For the right arm, draw a curve coming down from his cheek. Make this arm bent, and repeat the bracelet design. Draw the thumb and claw just like the left arm.
Start with a curve for his knee and add three sideways “V” shapes for his toenails. Connect the toenails with curves to form his claws. Do the same for the other leg.
Draw a diagonal line from his hand down to his leg for the tail. Next, sketch his shell starting from his elbow, adding spikes and curves to complete the shell shape.
Now that you’ve drawn Ludwig von Koopa, it’s time to color him in! Use markers, crayons, colored pencils, or even paint to make your drawing colorful and lively.
Great job! You’ve successfully drawn Ludwig von Koopa. You can add more characters from the Mario world, like Mario, Luigi, or Bowser, to your artwork. Have fun and keep drawing!
