Today, we’re going to learn how to draw Louisa, the strong and awesome character from Disney’s Encanto. Get your drawing tools ready—markers, pencils, and paper—and let’s have some fun!
Start by drawing Louisa’s nose right in the middle at the top of your paper. Then, draw two big circles for her eyes—one on each side. Inside each eye, add a tiny circle in the top left corner for the shiny part. Color the big circles, but leave the tiny ones white.
Next, draw a line over each eye to make her eyelids. Add three little eyelashes on both sides to make her look cute.
Draw a happy smile with a curved line for her mouth. Add a little line on her cheek for extra detail. For her chin, draw a line that curves under and back up on both sides.
Draw her eyebrows with a gentle curve above each eye, making them a bit thicker to stand out.
Louisa has lovely curly hair. Draw a wavy line coming down from her forehead on both sides. Make sure they match!
Connect the two sides of her hair with a curve at the top of her head.
Draw her ears by making a “C” on one side and a backward “C” on the other. Add tiny earrings inside her ears if you like.
Louisa wears a red bow. Draw two loops for the bow and a bumpy line in the middle for her bun.
Draw two curved lines coming down from her chin for the top of her dress. Connect them at the bottom. For the bottom of the dress, draw a wavy line to make it look like it’s flowing.
Add some details by drawing two short lines on each side and connecting them with a wide “V” shape. You can also add wavy lines at the bottom for extra flair.
Draw two lines coming down from the bottom of her dress for her legs. Then, make her feet by curving around and connecting to the inside of each leg.
Draw a curve on top of each foot for her sandals, and add an “X” shape for the straps.
Start with her left arm by drawing a curve from her shoulder to her elbow, then back to her hip. For the inside of her arm, draw a curve leading to her elbow.
For her right arm, draw a curve showing her flexing her bicep. Connect this line to her elbow and then down to her wrist, making the wrist smaller.
Add bracelets by drawing two lines on each wrist and finish the sleeves with a curve.
Yay! You’ve finished drawing Louisa. Now, it’s time to add some color. Use markers, colored pencils, or crayons to make your drawing come alive. You can even draw a background or other characters from Encanto to make it even more special.
