Welcome to Circle Time!

Hello, friends! Welcome to our fun and creative circle time. I’m Caroline, and I’m here with my friend Sophie.

Meet Sophie

Hi, Sophie! Hi, Caroline! Hi, friends! I’m so excited to be here today for a very creative and artistic circle time.

Let’s Get Creative!

Today, we’re going to do some drawing. But before we start, I want to show you some amazing show-and-tell from our friends who have been busy drawing.

Show-and-Tell Time

Wow! I love show-and-tell. Let’s see what our friends have been drawing. It’s always inspiring to see the wonderful art that everyone creates!

  • What is your favorite thing to draw, and why do you like drawing it? Can you share a story about one of your drawings?
  • Have you ever done a show-and-tell with your drawings or something else you made? How did it feel to share your creation with others?
  • Why do you think it’s important to be creative and share your art with friends? How does it make you feel when you see other people’s drawings?
  • Draw Your Day: After watching the video and reading the article, take some time to draw a picture of your favorite part of the day. It could be something you did, a place you visited, or a person you spent time with. Once you’ve finished your drawing, share it with a family member or friend and explain why you chose that moment. This activity helps you express your feelings and experiences through art, just like in circle time!

  • Color Hunt: Go on a color hunt around your home or outside. Find objects that match the colors you used in your drawing. For example, if you used blue in your picture, look for something blue like a toy or a flower. Take a photo or draw a small picture of each item you find. This activity encourages you to observe the world around you and see how art and colors are part of everyday life.

  • Story Time Art: Think of a story you love or make up your own. Draw a scene from the story or create a new character. Share your drawing with someone and tell them about the story or character you imagined. This helps you use your imagination and storytelling skills, just like creating art during circle time!
